I worked in a coagulation lab and studied pathology so I can give you some advice. Some people, when taking low molecular weight heparin, develop something called Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia (HIT).
I would talk to your Doctor again. Make sure that your platelet count isn't too low (he/she will be monitoring it anyway as you're on heparin). When your count is too low, then you're at a risk of venous or arterial thrombosis (blood clots in the veins or arteries, respectively).
In one study, 50 women with thrombophilia (including 20 factor V Leiden heterozygotes) and recurrent pregnancy loss were treated with enoxaparin throughout 61 subsequent pregnancies. The live birth rate was 75% with enoxaparin prophylaxis, compared to 20% in prior untreated pregnancies [Brenner et al 2000].
It turns out that portal vein and superior mesenteric vein are thrombosed. They put her on enoxaparin and wanted her to rest for 5 days until the next control. She refused to be put on heparin or warfarin because of her history of gastrointestinal bleeding and recent surgery. We've been told thrombectomy would be extremely risky, given her medical history.
I read somewhere enoxaparin only prevents further occlusion of the vein and does not lyse existing clot.
Other than this medication, the cardiologist has not given me any parameters on his heart conditions. I have been monitoring his pressure readings at home. What are the "normal" reading for patients with this condition? His readings is normally in the range of 126-135 for the systolic and 58-68 for the diastolic. What are the parameters should the doctor provide so that we as parents know of his progression and when there is a need of surgery. I am really at a loss now.

Stef2011- My feeling is that the technician just took two reading and reported the resutls which is not the right method to conduct fibroscan. Thus the reading may not be of much significance.
Was your event monitor set up with autorecording parameters? If you don't know, you should ask. You may not have to push the button at all if it's set up for autorecord. Modern recorders will call the monitoring lab intermittently and download the recordings whether they were auto or manual recordings. If you have a continuous 24hr. recorder, when you press the button, a digital marker is placed at the noted time to make analysis easy.
continue through with warfarin, or to stop the warfarin and bridge in between with enoxaparin or heparin (as snconorm had done).

So continuing through with warfarin seems to be the newer strategy.
What would NOT be done is to stop anticoagulation altogether.

Yes I'm on the generic enoxaparin. I was on it with my first and forth (all 4 pregnancies were miscarriages). Now I'm on it again since 3 1/2 weeks pregnant.
very low level hbvdna is also deteactable on those who clear hbv and have high hbsab, hbvdna is just a marker to monitor therapy by nucs or to have an idea of liver cancer risk or liver damage but in these 2 last parameters fibroscan is becoming more useful leaving hbvdna mainly nucs response monitoring

Abnormal Liver Function Tests
Liver function tests (γ-GT, alkaline phosphatase, AST, ALT) and bilirubin levels should be monitored every month for three months after start of therapy, and every six months thereafter. This monitoring will allow the early detection of a possible deterioration of the hepatic function.

No you shouldn't be worried. Nst monitoring is made track your contractions as well as babies heart rate and activity. It is completely safe.
At 40 wks my dr wrote me an order to go to the hospital and get fetal monitoring to check on baby and to make sure my fluid level is still good. However, when I called labor & delivery the woman who answered seemed confused about this. Now I'm wondering if it's actually necessary. Baby is moving just fine and I've had no abnormal pains, bleeding, or anything. Has anyone ever had to go in just to get fetal monitoring?
