Enoxaparin bridge

Common Questions and Answers about Enoxaparin bridge

Avatar n tn continue through with warfarin, or to stop the warfarin and bridge in between with enoxaparin or heparin (as snconorm had done). http://www.circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/content/full/116/22/2531 So continuing through with warfarin seems to be the newer strategy. What would NOT be done is to stop anticoagulation altogether.
Avatar n tn In one study, 50 women with thrombophilia (including 20 factor V Leiden heterozygotes) and recurrent pregnancy loss were treated with enoxaparin throughout 61 subsequent pregnancies. The live birth rate was 75% with enoxaparin prophylaxis, compared to 20% in prior untreated pregnancies [Brenner et al 2000].
Avatar n tn It turns out that portal vein and superior mesenteric vein are thrombosed. They put her on enoxaparin and wanted her to rest for 5 days until the next control. She refused to be put on heparin or warfarin because of her history of gastrointestinal bleeding and recent surgery. We've been told thrombectomy would be extremely risky, given her medical history. I read somewhere enoxaparin only prevents further occlusion of the vein and does not lyse existing clot.
Avatar m tn I am 27 weeks pregnancy and have dvt, start to using CLEXANE(ENOXAPARIN) I am really worried is there any harm to my baby Thanks & Rgards
Avatar f tn Yes I'm on the generic enoxaparin. I was on it with my first and forth (all 4 pregnancies were miscarriages). Now I'm on it again since 3 1/2 weeks pregnant.
Avatar f tn I have been on progesterone suppositories, baby asprin, folic acid, prenatal vitamins and enoxaparin.
Avatar m tn Yes, we refer to it as tooth preparation. We need to remove some tooth structure around the tooth in order to create room for a bridge. If we just put a bridge on top of the existing teeth, it wouldn't fit your bite.
Avatar f tn I had a temporary on the 2 front teeth that support this bridge. With no problem or pain or discomfort. Having the bridge installed the dentist told me we might need to adjust a few times to get the bite right. I called him this morning to tell him I was having some pain and discomfort. He told me to come down and checked the bridge , adjusted the bite a little and told me this was normal to be feeling this. The teeth will need some time to adjust it could take up to a week or two.
Avatar n tn The only other thing would be to remove the end teeth on your bridge and have new ones fitted to the remaining bridge. Refiring old porcelain may not be advisable. Plus that could be more costly than a whole new bridge. Your taking a gamble that the old bridge will line up exactly to your implants. There is no room for error there as implants are totally stable in the bone. They don't move. I think what you are asking about can only be answered by your dentist and oral surgeon.
Avatar m tn I was told my one dentist that the bridge is fine and the hole can be filled to save the bridge. Another dentist tells me the bridge should be replaced, as there is infection under the bridge that will reoccur if the bridge is not replaced. This would then comprimise the anchoring tooth and cause me larger problems later, if I lose this tooth. Please give me your professional opinion on the options I have at this point.
Avatar f tn i lost a tooth due to a hit two years ago i couldnt afford to crown it at the time but i hated the way it looked so i just had a bridge done the two teeth beside it hold it up i believe the bridge is porcelain and on the back it looks like mercury is on one tooth black or grey on the inside of the mouth of the one toothis that normal?
Avatar n tn A related discussion, <a href="/posts/Dental-Health/Treat-decay-under-bridge-anchoring-tooth-with-removing-bridge/show/1775171">Treat decay under bridge anchoring tooth with removing bridge</a> was started.
Avatar f tn ve not had any bad taste in my mouth, sensitivity in the bridge area or anything else to suggest the bridge has come loose. I did get a new Braun (have been using one for years) and used it for the first time that day a couple hours before the "shift". Could that have caused the bridge to loosen or could this "shift" be normal and not indicate a loose bridge. If the bridge is loose, is it normally removable and able to be re-cemented?
Avatar m tn A five unit bridge is a very long span. If those supporting teeth follow what your others did, it would leave you with a real problem. What your dentist is proposing is sort of "middle ground" between a partial denture, which can be incredibly natural looking and quite comfortable, and implants. If you haven't considered implants, I highly recommend them.
Avatar m tn Really. I could not believe it. He did a bridge on teeth 9-11 and it does not feel like it fits right. The bite is off and actually shifts a bit. I also get a chalky taste from the base of it. When the bridge is taken out I don't get that taste so I know it's from this bridge. I have other crowns in my mouth made out of the same material - captek coping fused to Ivoclar Inline ceramic - and they do not bother me like this. So the dentist told me to stop flossing around this bridge.
Avatar n tn The impressions were taken and the bridge ordered. No temp bridge was installed at that time and I begin chewing on my newly exposed (previously bridged) teeth. These teeth were somewhat straightened with braces years back to install the first bridge, since they were badly tipped. Now that I had been chewing without a bridge I started feeling an ache in the teeth and an actual weekness although I didn't notice any loose feeling.
Avatar f tn My teeth never hurt befor I had this bridge done. The bridge is ancored on one tooth with a root canal on one side and the other tooth was a good pre molar. This is my first bridge why does it hurt so much and should I get the permanent one put on? I need help it hurts thanks.
Avatar n tn Then today, I noticed a small black area on the other side (the right side) and saw it was a small area where I can see the metal part under the bridge, like a hole between the bridge teeth. I haven't paid that much attention to things like that before now, so could it be possible that I'm just over-thinking all this? I dread having to get it looked at because a) I remember the excrutiating pain of getting the bridge in place to begin with and b) I have no dental insurance.
Avatar f tn I have had a 3 tooth bridge (front teeth) for years. Bridge came loose after years and in removing it, one anchor tooth broke and was advised to have it removed. Did this. Now the next tooth to be used to hold up the now 4 tooth bridge has been a problem for 4 years. It was tramatized (a canine natural tooth)in removing a tooth next to it. It has had minor pain for the 4 years but a root canal doctor said leave it alone.
1346503 tn?1276505192 yes, bridges can be removed with the help of crown removers or in case the bridge gets stuck then doctor may opt to cut the bridge and take out to treat underlying teeth.
Avatar n tn Hi. I'm really scared. I have a 10 front teeth bridge who stands on 4 teeth. Canins and molars so no front teeth. My doctor somehow suggested me not to bite on my front teeth since my bridge may get lose from the back. Well..I thought biting like something hard, but I was just biting slow on my pizza when I heard one single "pock" on the back on one of my molars. I got freaked out. Everything seems normal now, but I wonder if something happened there, would I know?
Avatar f tn Now the bridge is loose on #10 but still attaching firmly on #13. Is there any way to remove the bridge without breaking it and re-adhesive it to the original place (my dentist says I can’t leave it as bacteria will go inside and damage my teeth, he tried to remove it but failed)? If finally, the bridge has to be break in order to have it removed, should I install a new bridge or implant #11 & #12 and put crowns on #10 & #13.
Avatar n tn I go in next week and he will take the temp. bridge off so i can make a mold for the perm. bridge and check it out but your right i should be healed by now and I'm not. Mabe the temp. bridge isn't fitting right and rubbing into my gums. This has been a nightmare. Thanks for the advice.
3183999 tn?1344645418 I CANNOT afford to replace it and I have to have it - the dentist had to grind down my eye tooth (which had never had so much as a cavity) for the front of the bridge and the back of the bridge is connected to the tooth that is now causing problems. Am I going to lose my bridge or can it be removed and put back on following the root canal? Also, I am not 100% sure that it is actually my tooth causing the problem - I have an antibiotic resistant sinus infection...
Avatar n tn It may be prudent to remove the bridge and replace it with a temporary bridge to see if that is the source of the problem. Have you maintained the hygiene of the bridge with flossing and brushing? It may be that you are allergic to the metal in the bridge or that it is an ill-fitting bridge.
Avatar n tn If I clench my teeth, I hear a small crunching noise from the tooth/bridge area about half the time. Could the bridge be loose (it does rock a little), and if so, could that be the cause? Any other ideas? Please help -- I can't take much more of this.
