Well on my upper lip not my lip but my upper lip i got raw flaky red skin i had it for about 7 months now,
I tried everything too heal it and it seems like nothing works?
Even topical gel,When i take a shower it gets dry real fast.
All i can do is use moisturizer too help it.
When my skin heals it cracks and falls off,
It does the same routine every time for the past 7 months.
And it does not ITCH or anything and its not eczema!

Neosporyn can cause topical allergic reaction with long term usage, too, so most the docs suggest to steer clear of it.

I thought i would do the same thing and used a spf 15. Let's just say i was burnt to a crisp, and being pregnant with a bad sunscreen is not fun. I started using spf 100 to prevent any burn. I would use at least a 50.
I have been watching my lip eczema problem that showed up recently and mine is related to using a new lip balm that was SPF-rated (I usually avoid SPF balms- this balm was supposed to be a natural anti-viral to help prevent cold sores) - It appears that my lips react to either benzophenone-3 or to Octyl-Methoxcinnamate.
I started using a non-petroleum-based SPF-15 lip balm at the advice of the dermatologist. Sometimes it seems to help the area, other times seems to aggravate it, so sometimes I stop using it for a few days, and in the colder weather neither using or not using it helps slow it down or stops the thickening. I have experimented with different toothpastes (in case it's a chemical response) with some apparent but short-lived effects.
I'm concerned this is something serious developing.

I hate sunscreen, too - it's so greasy and makes me break out. But I'm so pasty white that I have to wear it. I had good luck last year with some of the spray on ones. They didn't feel greasy at all and provided good coverage. I have to get some super SPF cream this year, though, for the good ol' TT scar.
I am only 25 and have noticed dark spots above my upper lip, that almost looks like a mustache (I wax so it is not hair). I know that it is probably a result from the sun. I already wear high spf daily and in my make-up and hats when possible. I have a medium skin tone. I was wondering if there is some kind of treatment to make the darkness fade? I've been getting a small cluster of tiny bumps on my bottom lip for a few years now. They usually come every other month, a few days before my period. They usually end once my period actually starts. The bumps don't hurt, or itch, but I can feel them when I rub my lips together or rub my teeth over them. I have continued using chap-stick while I have the bumps, because the bumps have never spread.

(I think the Aveeno might be discontinued though, so I'd try looking online for it).
