Thanks Mr.teak i had a test after 6 months by tridot method and was negative.i was bit confused that tridot detect only hiv 1(c sub type) not other subtype because i had sex in UAE and checked in india for my conclusive result. Where is hiv 1 & 2 found? whether all hiv 1 & 2 Abs test look for all subtypes ( i mean both elisa/eia & Rapid test), if yes, then one test is enough after windows period. Please clear my doubt Mr.

African virus can be detected in indian hiv kit. Western blot test not taken it now.

Hallo, Had unprotected sex with positive women, for 5 months ( year 2009 ) Had ars symptoms. Tested with 2 test with tridot(10min) india and remaining with done with purchasing kit resulted negitive at 2,3,4,5 months. After then I marriaged. I never tested,again tested 6,7 months negitive (6 month with lab) 8 months resulted positive in ghana with other kid.so I was upset and tested in other lab with spot test ( written on paper) resulted negitive.

I have tested 89 days after exposure by ELISA. I dont know which generation of ELISA test is followed in India. I am confused should i consider that test as conclusive or retest after 6 months.

Tridot is an ELISA test and CRFs are in HIV type 1 Group M and can be detected by ELISA tests.

t be reliable at all nor would any other test. 3 months dude is when you need to take your test and get a conclusive test result. If you want to do a Home Access test. Then do it at three months send it in and your results will be conclusive.

I have test through HIV tridot test in evening in india ,lab technician gave me result in 30 minutes and told its negative. But i keep that testing kit with me which was used ,next day morning i saw that kit and found very big blood spot at one side like its leaked. I want to know that my test was ok or my lab technician gave results without checking in proper time.

This may not be the best place to ask this t I wondered if anyone knew this one. When a lab is testing your blood for HIV. Do they use the same Elisa assay kit (tray) to test multiple people at the same time? Or is it 1 kit to 1 person?

Shaunw thanks for your support dear. please let me know how conclusive are my test which i have done at India. the combo test at 3 months and the tridot ab test at 6 month 2 week. i think the first test is fouth and the latter is second generation test. can i consider conclusive, move on without any fear on hiv ahead in life...please response. i am worried about my wife and my symptoms...

Does Home access kit use Elisa? I will ask doctor to do West blot.
