Avatar n tn Are these results conclusive for being negative for HIV or do I need to get another ELISA again on 90 days post? The odds I've figured for myself are about 1/20,000,000,000 which makes me feel pretty good (using 3% incidence which is probably very high in the first place). I've also read that the difference between 82 and 90 days is irrelevant. However, it's just one of those things where a very slight possibility still seems uncomfortable.
Avatar m tn ve been vaccinated in the past for hepatitis B, but the immunity is no longer present in the test. The guidance from the CDC suggests that you don't need revaccination, but some people chose to do it anyway. My opinion is that you don't have HSV 2.
Avatar f tn Hepatitis B and C are curable but if you can't afford the treatment, take to the advice above, take adequate water, proper sleep and make these few supplements/medications close to your heart, i promise they will help: Livolin forte[contains some liver friendly B-vitamins], vitamin E and you can always alternate between Livolin forte and Silymarin(the active substance of Milk Thistle).

20894959 tn?1583682547 You did not specify exactly which blood tests were performed. The initial screening test for hepatitis C is usually the ELISA screen, but more than 1 in 5 people who test positive do not actually have hepatitis C. Antibodies picked up by the test may have been triggered by infection other than hepatitis C (cross-reactivity phenomenon). People who have recovered from hepatitis C on their own may also get a false-positive ELISA test result.
Avatar n tn It was chlamydia and gonorrhea that was most likely tested by urine. You have covered your bases for the most part. I would test for herpes and hepatitis around the 4 month time frame. I'm sorry you had to experience this brutal crime.
