Avatar m tn I saw my ENT doc which is very good and he notices I have redness on my face (cheeks), he recommended me to try Elidel. Today I am using Rozex and it helps and prevent Flares but still there is some redness. I am now 6 weeks post EOT, UND and hope to stay UND. Someone has experience with Elidel ? Can it cause any problem to the liver or to the treatement ?

Avatar m tn Variations included antibotic solution in morning and then on alternate evenings use Metrogel and Sodium product. Use Elidel only when scaling or peeling. Later at times, I'd simply mix the drugs on my palm like an artists palette with a dab of metrogel, a little Sodum and Elidel optional. Mix it with your finger and apply all at once. Sometimes once a day, sometimes twice.

Avatar m tn I am having the anal condition from 1998 and then the scalp condition from 2000. I was using elidel(1 yr) and analpram(5 years), pramosone(1yr) and lately nystatin(last one year) for the anal hemmoriods. I was using olux foam(4 yrs), extina(1yr) for the scalp irregularities. I do lot of scratching on the anal area and the scalp, due to which these medications regularly mix with the blood. Because I used to have heavy bleeding due to the scratching and itching.

Avatar n tn Dr. HHH, I posted several months ago about my concern with topical Elidel and it possibly supressing my immune system so that the OraQuick test wouldn't detect anti-bodies. I tested 3,4,8 months out with the rapid oraquick swab. I also had my doctor do a blood draw and tested EIA 6 months after possible exposure. All test were negative.

Avatar m tn As for what I have done to feel better, technically prayers and patience concurrent with cold water and salt and some sun. I can tell u im alot better yhan the first couple of weeks after ceation of the steroids I'm hoping the swilling will decrease with time, I really would not advice anyone to use steroids more than a week just for insurance. However the main reason I used it for was to get rid of the redness! And I think maybe with time it would fade away.

Avatar f tn I was prescribed silver sulferdizine (spelling?) and that had cleared my symptoms for a month then it came back. Then recently I was given elidel to see if that would work. It had cleared up the red pinpoint pimple looking marks on my inner thigh and relieved the reddness on my scrotum for a while, however 3 weeks ago it flared up again and the elidel doesnt seem to help. I currently have a red scrotum, a red line in my right groin fold that will not go away and a itchy inner thigh.
