Egg protein bodybuilding

Common Questions and Answers about Egg protein bodybuilding

protein

Avatar m tn Whey protein is the highest-quality and fastest-digesting form of protein. Typically consume whey protein post-workout to speed up the muscle repair and recovery process. Whey is sold in powder form and ready-to-drink shakes for quick consumption. I suggest only buying whey concentrate! Whey protein concentrate, NOT protein isolates Protein isolates are proteins stripped away from their nutritional cofactors. There are three problems with that... All isolates are exposed to acid processing.

Avatar m tn The exercise part of bodybuilding is good for your liver, but you might want to think twice about doing a protein-heavy bodybuilder's diet. Too much protein can stress your liver. You might want to talk to a doctor about what is the appropriate amount of protein intake.
Avatar m tn You need 12-20% Protein but because you are bodybuilding you can up the percetage a little bit. Protein is in all meats, eggs, and there is some protein in nuts, seeds, yogurt, beans, and a few others. Carbohydrates 60-65 % you need complex carbohydrates like whole grains, and fruits and vegetables are excellent. Carbohydrates give you fuel (energy). Fruits and veggies are great but are not calorie dense so be sure to eat more that just a fruit at a time....
Avatar f tn m a former bodybuilder and national-level powerlifter and I know a thing or two about nutrition.
Avatar n tn I compete in figure bodybuilding and reqularly take creatine, glutamine, whey protein powder, and BCAAs. What effect will synthroid meds have on these supplements and should I continue using them?
Avatar f tn Weight gainers are typically higher in protein than whey protein supplements. However, the protein content comprises a significantly larger percentage of whey protein supplements than weight gainers. A lower-calorie weight gainer may contain 35 grams of protein, while a higher-calorie weight gainer may supply 100 grams of protein. However, given calorie amounts of 620 and 1,860, the protein comprises just 22.5 and 21.5 percent of the calories in these gainers.
Avatar n tn Thanks!....So how about egg protein based shakes..Are eggs considered dairy products?
Avatar m tn Same with whey. For building muscle, some prefer egg protein, but most seem to like the whey. Organic is great, but when you're isolating something down to the protein, it's more important it be done correctly. An organic product that uses the wrong kind of method of isolating the protein isn't going to be very helpful. If muscle is what you're after and not health, go ask the biggest guy at your gym. It's obviously working.
Avatar m tn I started bodybuilding almost 1 year ago with improving my nutrition which included protein and vitamins supplementation. My last time working out was shoulders; at the end of the that workout I had a bit of a pain on my neck which was familiar to me because I had similar pain in the same workout before many times but it healed on its own. However, the pain that time was extremely worse when I tried to sleep that day. I woke up having stiff neck and couldn't move my head from side to side.

Avatar f tn I'm currently 16, and have been thinking I have thyroid issues for a while. I then thought my symptoms indicated diabetes. I posted a question, and a woman said my symptoms showed thyroid problems. Here's several of my symptoms- foamy pee, unable to lose bodyfat fast(as unbelievable as it is, I have a perfect diet since I'm bodybuilding), slow muscle recovery, excess sweating ,muscle weakness, bad immune system, and on occasions I'll get very hungry.
360318 tn?1340393363 Nuts, though high in fat, are actually quite heart healthy and very high in protein. Beans are another good source of protein. All animal food is high in protein, with fish being high in fat but good fat. You have a lot of choices. It's not the amount of fat that's important, since most protein foods contain fat, it's the kind of fat and the variety in the diet -- eating a lot of vegetables, for example, provides the antioxidants that help prevent fat from being a problem.

Avatar m tn I have been practicing bodybuilding for about 4 years; therefore, i also have a higher protein intake than an average person. In the past, I have taken and cycled creatine monohydrate supplement. I got off my creatine cycle 2 weeks ago. Could my elevated creatinine serum be because of creatine monohyrate supplement that I was taking 2 weeks ago? Do i most likely have an kidney damage of any sort? I have tendency to get paranoid all the time and I do not have peace of mind.
Avatar f tn I can't stand eggs when I'm pregnant. Something about them makes me sick. I have had two healthy babies so far without eating an egg every day. You just need protein so that's why people say you should eat eggs.
Avatar m tn Now the other contradiction seems to come from the use of whey protein. I really would like to keep continuing taking my whey protein supplement since i am into working out at the gym and buffing up(not necessarily bodybuilding).
4744855 tn?1358656623 Personally I would not recommend any shakes. It is best to increase protein intake through cereals, oats, lean cut of meats and egg whites. You can opt for a healthy diet and lifestyle. Exercise regularly. With time you will gain weight and a toned and fit body. Take care! The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you.
Avatar m tn t do it regularly, try to at least go for a jog around your block once or twice a week or do workout videos (like the well-known P90X videos) that are quick to whip you into shape at home. As for meal plans, combining complex carbs and protein is your best bet for gaining muscle.
Avatar m tn Make sure you are getting the right nutrition, that is everything. You probably should be eating 3,000 calories a day roughly and 200 grams of protein at the low end. Nutrition is everything when it comes to putting on mass. Drink some extra protein shakes and have a great workout!
