My understanding is that Whey protein is very fast burning not sure about Soy and Hemp and Egg but on the other end my understanding is Cassiene protein powder is the slowest. Weight lifting crowd reccomends Whey right after a workout because it gets in quick, and they reccommend Casseine at bedtime because it is slower and thus works away and you don't have to get up to drink more. To summarize: would Casseine be the best protein powder (in a pinch) because it "burns" slower?
Even alcohol should always be taken with food to slow down the absorption rate. I don't think milk or eggnog would slow the absorption of alcohol very much but a meal, even a light meal, would. So to me, it just makes sense that the Incivek would also absorb slower if taken with solid food, at least some of it solid, along with the high fat part. meat/eggs/dairy are complete protein. meats/eggs are known as heme...iron rich food that absorbs well. non-heme can still be high in iron...like spinach, green peppers, beets. though they contain iron, it is bound and doesn't absorb easily. Unless you eat it with heme food, and then it absorbs much better. So better to make a meal of salad and veggies, and have your meat or egg sand (if you can't go vegan) at a different meal. that will at least keep apsorption to a minimum.

The NP just repeated what she was told or heard somewhere about loss of bone. A low TSH cannot cause bone loss. If she is concerned that the low TSH means you have become hyper, that is incorrect. There are scientific studies showing that a majority of hypo patients have suppressed TSH when taking adequate doses of thyroid meds. So, if the low TSH is supposed to mean tht your thyroid levels are too high, then how come your Free T3 and Free T4 are at the very low end of the ranges.
Or protein shakes, some are soy based and some are based on egg protein (others I'm not sure what they put in them)...whatever works that you can tolerate. And as an aside, remember that ribavirin absorption is greatly enhanced by consuming it with a fat rich meal or snack (it doesn't have to be animal fat, vegetable fat works too).
I would add some protein say whey protein to your diet, because you seem to be low in proteins but we do need to be slightly protein positive.

The foul, sulfuric rotten egg/bad red wine burps and flatulence (and diarrhea) are mortifying. I have studied the entire human body (in my profession), and have close friendships with several internists. However, I have no health insurance. Based on what I've studied and have been told, the most likely culprits are gastroparesis (very slow emptying of the stomach) OR gall bladder disease.
I just went through my first failed IVF cycle and was diagnosed with poor egg quality. I don't have high FSH which would generally make it simpler to understand why I have a diminished ovarian reserve, but I have high E2 levels which artifically supress my FSH. I was also adviced to take DHEA for 16 weeks in the hopes that it will improve my egg quality. But I have no clue where to begin, where to buy DHEA supplements and what kind to use?
