I have been on almost every depression pill known to man over the past 10 years and I can say the only prescriptions that did not cause me weight gain are the ones i'm currently on, which are citalopram and wellbutrin sr.
My husband was taking Wellbutrin sr 150 the doctor upped him to 200 sr and they gave him buprion 200 sr(on the bottle it says just Bupr). He had lots of energy on the Wellbutrin sr150 and was a pleasure to be arounds, but on this 200 buprionsr he goes to sleep and is like snappen at me all the time. After reading some of these questions I am worried that things are going to go back to the way they were before he started taking his meds.
m on 300 mg of welbutrin xl in the evening before bed, 150 mg of welbutrin sr in the morning, 150 mg effexor xr in both morning and before bed, and 40 mg of geodon in the evening. i'm hoping to switch the welbutrin and effexor to something else, either a single medication or two different medications, i've also been put on zoloft, lexapro, and prozac where the medications i'm not on currently either didn't work as they should have, or they had more negative side-effects than not.
I was prescribed Effexor XR 75 mg and took it for 4 days. I experienced moderate nausea until day 2 when a migrane headache started. It's so painful that I can hardly see straight, and I only get relief while lying down. I'm on day three with the migrane and it's been 36 hours since I last took the Effexor. When can I expect the headache to go away? I've missed two days of work for it already.
I have been on Effexor XR for about 8 months now. I started with effexor xr 37.5 mg, then one week later up to 75 mg, then 150mg. About a month ago, when it seemed to have stopped working, my doctor increased it to 225 mg, but it totally messed me up. It works on another nueral transmitter, dopamine. The differance between SR and XL is one of release time. 300 mgs of SR requires a 150 mg tablet twice a day. XL is one 300 mg tablet once a day.
Antidepressants often become ineffective over time. Wellbutrin worked well for me for about 3 years and then it didn't. Adding Remeron helped but everyone is different. Now I'm back to Zoloft which worked very well but left me with no libido.

why has your dr. prescribed effexor if your doing well on the kolonopin? yes! effexor gave me severe heart palpitations. they were so bad one night i had my husband take me to the hospital, i was also having severe jaw pain. they checked me out and said i was fine and sent me home. they recomended that i get a stress test which i did and it came back fine. my regular m.d, the hospital and the heart dr.

I'm on 90mg Erfa and just introduced SR T3. I cannot get consistent temps no matter when and how many I use?
For example I used 3 7.5mcg T3 and temp rose to 97.33 it then went down to 96 around noon after I took 2 MORE!
This morning I took 4 SR T3 with 90 mcg thinking I need to take more in the morning but instead it was lower than the morning before when I took less and which was 97.33F.
Ive been searching the internet as to some kind of protocol to follow but dont find much information.
