Back in 2006 I got really low and took an overdose of my antidepressant-Effexor and Olanzipine, I cant recall the exact quantities I took but it was about 8 capsules of Effexor (75mg) and a couple of Olanzipine (5mg). I seemed to 'pull through' this incident fairly well, but for the now I am wondering what kind of long term damage I could've done to my system, as most of the time I never really feel that healthy. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To clarify for you, the term 'fatal' means it causes death 100% on average.
also, with coke in general, fatal reactions have nothing to do with tolerance -- using coke can kill you anytime, just with the next line. there's no predicting it. any next use can cause a fatal arythmia.
but he should absolutely be seen if he took that much. it's like the mules that have condoms-ful explode in their gut -- dead, dead, dead.
Not knowing if you accidentally took too many tablets or if you had a near fatal reaction to the combination of these meds.......I strongly believe only your doctor can answer your questions for you.
Highly unlikely, but if you are trying to overdose you need to go immediately to the emergency room. You need to be in a hospital setting until you get stabilized. The fact you're writing on this forum suggests you really don't want to die, so go to the hospital, get stabilized, and then with a psychiatrist figure out a plan to learn what you do want and how you might get there. Can a baby overdose off of hydrocodone, oxycodone , or Roxycodone through breast milk if the mother takes the right dosage, or slightly more, only once a day and not everyday. If he breastfeeds while its in the mothers system, is sleepiness a sign of overdosing? If so, can l the overdose possibly death happen after the mother is no longer on medication?
i messed took too many pills but apparently not enough. i went to my doctor im back on effexor with all the side effects. im going to a counselor soon. ive been back on effexor a week. ok in day time but i cant sleep t lay in bed and sleep a lot. i wish i could get my happy back and my emotions. nothing feels right/ i feel nothing and i know that is noy good.
You need to see your psychiatrist. You're on a very high dose of Effexor, and now you're also on a low dose of another med that targets serotonin. Two things might be happening -- one is an overdose of serotonin. The second is an overdose of dopamine.
i'm on several medications: concerta 52 mg, topamax, and effexor. i am so tired still during the day. i'm also cold. i thought concerta would keep me focussed during the day; not still have me feeling lazy. what is wrong with me.

Domino YES EXTREME WAKE-UP CALL! I wouldn't be scared to death if it weren't for the alcohol- I wouldn't have taken so much Tylenol. I will be so thankful if everything comes out right, and even if I am overreacting - after learning how dangerous Tylenol can be and that it is the leading OD case, I literally saw my life flash before my eyes.
One possibility my brother mentioned was that I vomited because of the Vodka, so I didn't have time to process the Tylenol.
In recent years, it had been fairly well controlled as I had started on Effexor XR over 300mg years back, and by 2014 had tapered down to 75mg per day. Last year suffered some trauma in a near fatal crash, and mentally did fine in the aftermath. In any event, after leaving the hospital last August, I ended up having relapsing symptoms.
I have had what I consider to be an excellent Psychiatrist for years.
See psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, been in hospital, taken an overdose, etc, etc. Now I am well on 150mg Effexor XR and will never stop taking it.
Glad you have had a diagnosis, because that will help you understand why you feel like you do.

Acetaminophen intoxication does lead to liver damage and can be fatal but the liver is a resilient organ and can repair damage to itself if given time.
Now I have no insurance, meaning, I cannot pick up my Effexor XR, Levothroid, Zocor (for cholesteral)and also my trazadone for sleep. The only thing I was able to pick up was my xanax 1mg 2X daily. It was only $19.00. As for the rest, what kind of danger am I going to be in not taking these meds. I have been taken all the above mentioned meds for 3 years or longer. What am I to do???

On march 7th I was put on Effexor for anxiety, depression and trouble sleeping. I was also put on Restoril to help with sleeping. It worked for a couple weeks, but the prescription ran out. Total insomnia happended where i just could not sleep all night and just stayed up, the whole night. I flet like I was going crazy. I was put on trazadone 50 mg for sleep. I have taken it for 2 nights now, and I sleep but both nights woke up soaked with night sweat.
