Marijuana can cause panic attacks in some people. Mainly in people who have been smoking for a long time, however, I suffered panic attacks after only 4 months of smoking. Have you seen good results, specifically whether it may have helped with smoking wrinkles and sun damage. I know that you cannot get rid of wrinkles from smoking. However, does retinol help to fade somewhat or make them less noticeable? What about sun damage - sun spots and pigmentation issues? I have very fair skin and am paying the price all around.

s, and for about 6 months I have had an onset of symptoms that appear related to smoking, but may be symptomatic of a deeper problem than merely the effects of smoking, since they are substantial and exhibited a rapid onset.
when I smoke cigarettes now, I have very low energy and it puts me to sleep. I sleep for maybe 2 hours, wake for 4-6 hours, during which I am smoking more cigarettes and feel like going to sleep again. keep repeating.
meggster, firstly understand that you should quit for your own health reasons, and not because somebody wants you to!!! I think now you are old enough to understand and take seriously that cigarette smoke can cost you your life in the course of time. 'am sure you must be aware of all the ill-effects of smoking?

You are not going to do permanent damage to your brain from a couple nights of drinking and smoking pot. I don't mean to encourage doing things that have some risk of creating dependency, but the actions of cannabis are temporary-- as are most of the effects of alcohol-- provided you aren't drinking to the point of alcohol toxicity (for example, drinking so much that you pass out, repeatedly).

If she does not quit she will eventually notice increased aging of her skin relative to her non-smoking friends, increased chance of getting lung,oral and other cancers later in life and multiple respiratory problems.

I have a close friend who has been addicted to marijuana for a long time, she also smoked during her pregnancy and no they did not test her for it when she gave birth. I don't know much on the effects of marijuana use during pregnancy but I strongly suggest that you look into that for the benefit of the baby. I know that she breastfed for quite a while, continuing to pass the drug onto her child. Our sons are the same age and have been friends since infancy.
m explaining all of this because I want the poster, Missy, to know that the damage done from smoking meth in your home is likely far more prolific and toxic than you can imagine. I've done extensive research in order to learn how to clean the residue. You cannot. Meth produces a vapor, not actually smoke. It changes forms when it comes into contact with moisture or even just movement from daily activity, whether steam from a shower or vacuuming the floor. It doesn't disappear, ever.

If you stop smoking, that's the best thing you can do. You are young, you've only smoked a couple of cigarettes and you can reverse the effects if you quit. Good for you for being concerned about it! Be tough and stop smoking now!
Look up some articles if you want to know the effects of smoking. You don't want to put anything into your body tat isn't good for either of you while you are pregnant. I don't know of any doctors who would encouraged you to continue smoking unless you are stressing out more from not smoking.
