Other than the headaches you Must feel better overall. Hope so. ' I am a member of the Smoking Addiction forum and over there we use a site for support called whyquit.com. This site might help you to understand what you're going through with the smoking quit. It's very helpful. I am going to also say your headaches probably have a lot to do with the pot too.
I formed an allergy to fresh pot resin. Living where I do, there are fields of it and homes full of it. If I go into an area of plants in bloom, I have an almost anaphylactic shock, tongue is numb, throat swells and lungs are constricted. Those are examples of individual responses. Another cause of problems is the fungus aspergillis, it is infamous in the Mexican Sativa strains being shipped here.

C'mon mon - in the interest of info exchange. I think it was you I remembered mentioning something about the evils of smoking it. I'm interested in your theory on this and if it's based in fact or not.
When I run out there are never any unspleasant symptoms and when I smoke it's only a couple of hits, but that can be several times a day depending on whats happening. I of course worry about what the long term effects may be but so far have noticed no untoward effects. Is it possible to remain a lifetime user or will lung cancer get me. Marijuana is my drug of choice, no cigaretts and only an occasional beer.

You were scared and uncertain about what you were doing and when you felt the effects of the smoke you panicked. I could safely say that you got the hepatitis by some other method than you suspect and that the symptoms you are now experiencing are probably related to the hepatitis. I suggest you leave your treatment options to be decided by qualified medical people and that you listen to them and accept their suggestions as being your best chance at ever feeling any better.
My very first episode of PAT was triggered from smoking pot. (I was a senior in high school). Let me tell you, I never touched it again. Nor any other drug for that matter. Let this be a lesson to you, your heart doesn't like it...stay away from it!!!
i think your missing my point. i doubt that when you give her the info about the negative effects of the THC will that make her stop either. no matter what you tell her or info you show about the negatives of using hash, she still has to realize she has a problem herself. i think you did great tossing it in the furnace and its a great sign of how serious you are about quitting. sorry if i did not help with your question. you can find info about the effects of THC if you google it on the net.
how is it possible you cannot have an idea?and how is it possible you still ask me what to do?
We also need to be aware of the effects of long term use of our medications that we take daily for pain. I have seen some people deteriorate severely while taking narcotics for pain but I have also seen many who take these medications daily and do very well. After all the alternative is to painful to bare. I have been taking pain meds for many years and I do not see any deterioration and I have asked my Dr if he sees any in me as well and he always replies no you look great!
On march 27th, i was drinking beer with my cousin and i had a substantial amount for me, (40oz of budlight and about 10oz of malt liquor). The we began to smoke some marijuana resin. I took probably two hits or so. Since then i havent felt myself. I kinda feel like that high hasnt gone away and the clear feeling that i usually have after smoking weed never came back. Im scared that this will be permanent.
I'm sorry, Ed, but I really don't know where YOU are getting your info. I've been growing, smoking, and making oil out of pot for right at 40 years, and really, haha, I KNOW what hashish is. And it's NOT pure resin. You say a tincture can't be made with glycerin and I've fallen for a bogus recipe- I've SEEN literally DOZENS of people do this and tasted the results many times. What you're saying is impossible is "stock in trade".
I'm actually on DAY ONE from not doing anything else as i have been struggling substituting other things instead of the pain pills. Alcohol, smoking weed, etc... which i DONT want to do. So i'm going 100% clean and NOTHING not even an anti-anxiety (benzo), drink, nada. Been a long time since i've done that, so pretty hard. Hitting meetings will be my solution most likely, 1 per day as they say.... hang in there, thanks for thinking about me... i'm here.
Unfortunately the excessive insulin levels cause side effects of weight gain, fatigue, sugar cravings, acne, male pattern hair growth (hirsuitism), skin tags, mcherry hemangiomas, movarian cysts, etc. A Functional Medicine physician who listens to their patient, and still thinks, is what someone in your position needs. In my practice, I get to the root cause of problems (when possible).
in fact they were smoking out of my pipe and i threw it away because of the small chance that the resin of the opium on my pipe would affect me. the only way i think i could be craving is subcontiously while i dont want to take one and dont think about it, the thought of me going through the w/d may be my subcontious way of craving you think? also to add over analyze alot of situations do you think this could be causing the symptoms to linger?
Its the actuall physical act of smoking that I think is so addictive to me Anyone who has been caught in the merry go round trap of smoking opiates, PLEASE tell me how u stopped. I am desperate. At the end of my rope. Hate myself. Hate my life. Hate what ive become. Hate waking up in the morning.
I have lost alot of weight, am taking metformin which dont normally have these sort of side effects, but i am also on anti depressants and sleeping tablets.
That is the ambrosia of Schedule III! Tussionex is hydrocodone delivered in a resin complex that breaks down constantly over 8 or more hours like having a built-in morphine drip. I'd rather have that stuff than Oxy. Anyway, everything you've read about Vicodin withdrawal applies to you. It's not surprising that you've got the runs. You're lucky, though, if that's your biggest problem. At least you can take care of that with an OTC med. BTW, how much Imodium did you take?
If you're not going through withdrawal or suffering the after effects of withdrawal such as low energy and insomnia, I don't think the recipe will help you. I would return to your doctor fairly soon prepared to give him a coherent, comprehensive history of how and when you took the two vics and how they failed to relieve your pain.
I wish that was my only concern at this point. If you were to read about all the side effects of any AD, you would wonder indeed if any of them were intended to be used by anybody other than someone who intentionally wanted to suffer from depression. Think about it! J.B.
I don't like taking pills anyway so I did not want to take those 2 at the same time. I know Chantix has a lot of side effects also, but this problem with the noise in my chest started over 2 years ago. I also have been diagnosed with costochondritis. So that makes it even more difficult to figure out what is going on. PLEASE if anyone has any answers or suggestions let me know!
I've searched the forums quite extensively and read up pretty much everything I can, but I'm still interested in some more views. As of September last year, I believe I have genital warts. I basically have 1 wart which is recurring. I've been to the GUM clinic a number of times. The first time they gave me the blue Warticon solution which I dabbed on 3 nights a week. After a number of weeks, the wart disappeared. I was a happy man. A month or two later it was back with a vengenance.
So, I slowed down the use of the corticosteroid, after ~3 weeks of use, due to long term use side-effects. My situation is deteriorating. A couple days ago I noticed that my scrotum now has these bumps which hadn't appeared before. The 2-3 welts on my waist/hip bone are not going anywhere... New itchy bumps are appearing on my buttocks. Why would allergic contact dermatitis appear as little hand blisters, welts and bumps on legs/thighs and pimply bumps on penis/scrotum? ****, I'm going mad...
Today I went for a lower back MRI and had a hard time holding still because of feeling crampy and cold. All of the docs say it is a coincidence that any of my problems started shortly after receiving the implant. I have sent blood in for the Melisa test, but wonder if a reaction will show being I was not able to refrain from using inhalers for five days. The implant has adhered to the bone and looks "perfect".
hello, Im a 25 yr old male that suffered with severe anxiety attacks for about a year and I just recently got to where i dont have them as much... actually I havent had one in about 8-10 months. I was going through ALOT of emotional stress, I had just seperated my shoulder (which added to alot of insecurities I have), I was just starting college (couldnt even pay attention because I was worried everybody was staring at me) and it gets worse and worse etc etc...
Theres a long abstract about exposure to H2S and its health effects. Its everything we're experiencing. Does anyone know if H2S is a metabolic end product or part of some pathway and eventually converted to something else and excreted?
And all those drugs carry with them thir own list of side-effects. I hate to think that I, and many of you, have spent so much time running around in circles with thse issues. I have spent many days in the hospital waiting for my heart to go back into normal sinus rhythm and I've been within minutes of having to have my heart shocked {cardio-verted}. I recently read that 80% of arrythmias are , in fact, Vagus-related. I think we need to get a Vagus website. Thanks for letting me vent.
