Effects of smoking mint leaves

Common Questions and Answers about Effects of smoking mint leaves

Your age isn't terrible, but combined with a twin pregnancy (if they're identical you're at even higher risk of complications) and smoking, it benefits no one least of all your children. Reaching out is the first step and it's wonderful that you have. Now you just need to take the next step and stick with it. It IS possible, and it likely won't be easy but stopping an addiction never really is.
maybe some warm milk helps? it helps a little bit for me. the smell of mint also helps sometimes. i hope it helps for you too!!
I forgot to mention that I am 17 years old, and ulcers, celiac and crohn's has all been taken off of the list, my mum is worried that it could be effects from cancer as she had most of the same symptoms when she had bowel cancer. I'm not going to worry myself with the latter unless that really is a risk.
So then after I had quit the gum after using Chantix I had a really bad day and bought a pack of cigerettes. Got tired of smoking and got the gum and I cant stop chewing the dang gum!!! As soon as the flavor runs out I just gotta have another piece!!! And I got soooo sick of it that I said forget it. This is it. I am quitting. Without the Chantix. It's it the cupboard and I'll keep it incase someday I may need it or give it to somebody. Anyhow it's been 5 days.
However, I have been off Incivek now for 6 weeks and I already lost 13 of those pounds I gained. As for side effects, they tend to creep up on you and they change from week to week. You may have only very mild side effects but if you get a rash, or anal pain, or anything else, post and we can give you some remedies.
I too ended up a gum/lozenge junkie. After being a 'don't care who sees me smoking' person for years I quit smoking because of the health risks and because I was embarrassed. Funnily, I became embarrassed about the gum/lozenge as well...I hid it for years. I used the gum/loz for over 5 years & have finally quit because it was making me feel crappy. Heart palpitations & severe bloating. I quit after cutting down for a few months.
I am very sensitive to the side effects of the beta blocker. I can exercise VERY moderately without elevated heart rate. I have to be careful not to combine food and exercise to avoid elevated rates. The doctors are and have been very dismissive of my problem all these years. They say that even 110 pulse is not dangerous and barely tachycardia. The problem is that I cannot take it psychologically and developed a severe anxiety condition over the years.
Well, I am just a kindred spirit who has been through this nasty piece of work called hard core, out of control drug abuse. I have tried everything and anything to make the detox whirlwind easier. And let me tell you, it is not easy. There are however, ways to make it bearable. This is just a small guide to detox. Tried, tested, stamped, and given the seal of approval by many professional junkies, (mu ha ha) And used by many more on a regular basis. Ok so, who the hell am I?
Good Morning Tramadol Warriors and welcome! It's a good day. Happy to see all of you. This is a great place to be to come off Tramadol. Welcome, snuggle down and get comfy.
1. Holy basil (tulsi): Consuming few leaves of tulsi (2-3) leaves anytime gives relief from acidity. 2. None of them seem to relate to the closure of the windpipe and cant give me a straight answer when I ask them. Has anyone an answer or better still has anyone else had this problem.
I experienced this sort of thing for many years after taking Accutane in 1985. The worst side effects of this drug appear after one is done with the course of therapy. Because of this the correlation between the dysfunctions of the body and the drug is lost.

This seems to be a bacterial or fungal infestation, so I brushed my teeth and tongue, scrubbing pretty well. Then I put my toothbrush in a glass of Listerine (happened to be Cool Mint) to soak, and began swishing with Listerine in my mouth and then sat down at the computer to see if I could find out what the hell the orange coating was. I eventually came across this forum, and after having the Listerine in my mouth for about 20 minutes, spit it out.
for the last 6 years or so I have been getting these phantom smells .. but not smoking.. weird stuff like wet cement, the smell of baking, some unknown medicine.. sometimes they'll last for 6 months other times they're gone in a week. I have noticed them less often in the last year. My doctor thinks I'm nuts... I know what I smell. I don't have allergies of any kind and I'm in excellent health and I can learn to live with the smell of fresh baked bread in my nostrils.. I mean it could be owrse..
I have a had a very slight sub-cutaneous bump on the palm of my right hand for years (maybe 3mm in diameter and now very difficult to detect) and one just developed one on my left hand. It was only very slightly raised with no discoloration or change in skin texture except it felt quite obviously like a bump. The second one is quite itchy from time to time and is a little rougher from scratching (This is NOT my computer mouse hand).
Almost like mucus drainage or something. I have been able to pull some of it up out of my throat and spit it out but it's clear with no color or spots or anything. No relief comes from that. Sometimes I can make it go away for a couple of minutes if I brush the back of my tongue. I took some Ztus expectorant last night hoping it would release it but no luck. Does anybody else have this problem and what can I do about it? I'm going to schedule an ENT appt. next week.
Hello, Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it sounds like oil glands or Fordyce spots. They are small yellowish-white granules on the inner surface and border of the lips. Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels(temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization. For your dry lips, avoid licking the lips as saliva evaporates quickly resulting in them being drier than before.

I see these comments are from 2006. I am currently having many of these same problems. Tickle in throat, sharp pain, cough, tears, nose dripping. This has been happening for the past 5 months. I've been to a ENT. He said it was my tonsils. I had them out. At first while I was on meds during my recovery from the surgery the symptoms stopped. But after I stopped taking the pain killers anti-biotic and the steroids the tickle came back.
I quit smoking at the on set of this symptom, i too have tried different to relief this feeling. I hope this may be helpful to some of you...also if you find a way to relief this feeling of breathlessness, please let me know.
first of all if you have plants around where you are to then you should get rid of them, plants are one of the main places that Gnats/fruit flies are attracted to because of the moist soil from being watered. good luck keeby and let me know how it goes.
Just because they didn't find anything concerning doesn't mean they didn't care about you in the ED. What you're experiencing is a lot more common than you may think and they see a lot of it. They know when to worry and when not to. The fact that your ectopics have been visualized and deemed benign should be extremely reassuring. If it isn't, then you have a different issue, which is anxiety.
They might, of course, be a number of things, my number one suspicion being they are small detatchments of a layer of the retina. Of course, my retinologist would disagree, which leaves me wondering whether they are what you describe. I am what you'd call a type 1 personality, and had quite a stressful run up to Christmas with child in hospital, general SAD, and, after the CSR showed up, the fear I was going blind.
As other have stated, it's a feeling of invisible bugs crawling on you and it effects every part of your body including sometimes the ears, nose and eyelids. There is no rash or bite marks of any kind. Whats really strange is, i live with my youngest daughter and she claims she doesn't have the sensation. She is enrolled in online school and i am seasonally employed so in the winter her and I are in the apartment 24/7 except for quick trips to the store.
Ready - youre doing AWESOME! keep it up ! Like "hooked4life", - Forgive me - I am going to cut and past to save time but, I have herniated discs and became addicted. I was hooked on about 15 pills- of 80 mgs of oxycontin a day. It almost destroyed my relationship with my wife as it altered me and made me miserable and self-centered spending long amounts of time in the garage just watching TV and smoking. I would "nod out" alot too.
