eczema vs hives

s Secret bras causing some people allergies. Since May, I have been breaking out atleast once a month in hives all over my body and swelling on my face without any known cause. I have already gone to the doctor twice. They can't figure it out and they just prescribe steroids which take about 2 weeks to work. I have even experienced trouble breathing from time to time.

My daughter just bRoke out with an eczema rash.. which sunscreen worked best for your lil ones.

What caused my hive outbreaks? Is it due to only stress or do I have eczema? I am just not sure what caused these hives since I am not allergic to anything at all. I know there has been other cases like mine. I will wait on your answer since my allergist couldnt give me one. The allergist said if I wasnt allergic to anything it is hard to tell what caused the hives,but I know I was in the ER about 7X due to hive outbreaks over the past 6mo. and I still get hives on back and palms periodically.

So now I have to use something without ppd. Also since I have had all sorts of trouble with rashes and hives. One such rash was on boob and in research I have found that the VS bra I was wearing could be the culprit. They apparently use formaldehyde in them. I continually have a bad rash that went to my head. Lol literally. Hard to explain. Apparently in people that this has happened to they have eczema or psoriasis all brought about by these bras.

Now I take antihistamine everyday in the evening but still I get the rashes. Some nights the shapes are round and other nights, it’s like lines. Are these hives or eczema? Why do I get it at night? Is it due to food?

Hi there, well 2 Weeks ago i lost my little babygirl, i was 21 weeks preg and i went into preterm labor! i started breaking out with hives all over my hands fingers and tighs. I read it was from anxiety. Is there anything i can do! my doctor recomended benadryl but its not really helping. I break out at night the most. can anyone help its really annoying and irritating.

It could be hives or eczema. Or something else.defjnitely get it checked out. Before I got pregnant I thought I had hives. Only to find out by a dermatologist that it was just eczema. Thank the good Lord my eczema has disappeared. Coconut oil helped a lot though when I did have patches. Also apple cider vinegar baths.

sounds like hives to me. Neither psoriasis or eczema would itch all over. Hives forms bumps and itches all over. Stress and allergic reactions cause them. Look for a pic online. Dermatologist label everything as eczema. If you go to one, go to a university. I spent over a year being tortured by medications given to me by so called doctors. Four said it was eczema four were 100% wrong. When I finally went to a real doctor, he fixed the problem in a week!

Hi, I have recently started getting hives after consuming alcohol. hives appear on both feet (around ankle) and back of palm (dorsal side) after a day or two and stays for 5-7 days. This didn't happen earlier. I don't have any known food allergies. Even though I don't have yet, my father has eczema. Also I have recently developed a Ganglionic Cyst on my face. I'm not sure if this is relevant to my allergic reaction to alcohol. But, what is the reason for Ganglionic Cyst?

I too experienced a rash and itching from my VS bra. I had worn them for years with no problems but when I began taking a weight loss supplement (Orovo) is when the itching, redness and rash began. At times, the itching was so severe I wanted to use a fork to scratch the areas that were itching! I discontinued using the weight loss supplement and the itching and rash went away. I do, however, still have a problem with the way VS is manufacturing their bras.

The doctors ruled out ring worm, and say it is a form of eczema. But the cream and ointment they gave me for this eczema has never worked for her. It also seems when these bumps appear, she gets tiny red bumps near her eyes and gets a runny nose too. I've attached some photos of her legs when her outbreaks occur. Please help! I'm sick of hearing the same old song and dance from the doctor we use.

Hi When topical corticosteroids do not provide relief, sometimes the doctor may consider prescribing some more potent corticosteroids for some period, in adults with eczema on the scalp, limbs, and trunk or those with chronic/ lichenified eczema. Newer two topical eczema drugs like pimecrolimus (Elidel Cream) and tacrolimus (Protopic Ointment) are reserved only for cases where corticosteroids have not been effective.

There was a 3 month time when I was going to the doctor for aniexety and was being perscribed Xanex,during those months my hives deminshed. I maybe had hives 2 times it was a great 3 months. Once I came off of the perscription the hives slowly came back. I've been off of Xanex since Feb. and hives are back in full force. Watch the Xanex tho you could get addicted.

my dad had ringworm about three-five months ago, other than that, i dont know how else i could have caught it. im pretty convinced its eczema, but, ive never had eczema in my life, before today. it was completely random. any help will be appreciated, thank you :).

Sounds like psoriasis or eczema to me. If you google ringworm, it has a very distinct appearance. No matter which, thisbbok changed my life, killing every fungal infection I had in just a few days: byebye . fungi.

Took them and immediately the hives vanished. for the past 2 weeks i have been getting this horrible rash it started on my back neck and chest as kind of like flare up circular warm rash now 2 weeks later i am getting these rashes that look like red lines on my arms stomach and legs thay do not itch and when i take benadryl there gone any idea of what this can be? is it pregnancy related?
