Avatar f tn I have had two or three pimple like bumps one on penis and two spaced far apart around my penis.. I have a pimple like bump under my bottom lip one the skin on the left side wife told me that it was ingrown hair I poped it and hard white ozz came out the redness is still there though. I have been itchy sometimes my legs mostly no pain no muscle aches I have a mustache and it gets itchy underneath. And on my chin as well.
Avatar m tn About 2 months ago I noticed the skin under my nose, where I shave, is very dry and it flakes up like dandruff. The area is only where I shave on my top lip and only affects the area where I shave. I dont shave off my mustache. Lately the dry area has been spreading to the edge of my lip. The area gets real dry, the skin hardens and it became darker than the rest of my shadow on my face. I can natuarlly get darker in the summer due to my puerto rican/south american descent.
Avatar n tn org/wiki/Chapped_lips Some causes of the symptoms you mention, could be lip biting, lip licking, Vit.B2 deficiency, smoking, overexposure to sun and ill fitting dentures. In extreme cases, this could be due to bacterial or fungal skin infection. You need to drink plenty of water daily – around 1.5 – 3 litres per day and eat a balanced diet. Do not keep your lips dry; apply lip balm which contains sunscreen – preferably a medicated one.
Avatar f tn I've had a similar issue. Do you have eczema anywhere else on the body, like the scalp or hands or arms? It's possible you're starting to get eczema on and around your lips, like I have. In such a case, I have found that vaseline just isn't enough. Eczema is more than what some people think it is, as it is actually a form of skin autoimmune issue. For some people, it can actually get worse than what psoriasis sufferers get, if you can imagine.
Avatar n tn I also suffered from eczema. I want to know can I restore my bottom lip back to its original Brownish color?
Avatar f tn The skin under my eyebrow and above my upper lip has become very dry and flaky.I have never had this problem before, and none of my immediate family has any Eczema or bad skin problems.I'm not sure what to treat it with, because some creams/lotions have only irritated it and made a burning sensation.I'm not sure what to do at all.Any help?? Oh and I'm only 13 years old.
Avatar f tn The affected areas should be moisturized on a frequent basis with Vaseline or Lip balms containing help oils like shea butter lip balms. If it is unresponsive to this, then you should consider the use of steroid creams like Desonide, a low potency steroid medication that is approved for use on the lips and face. ref:http://ezinearticles.com/?
Avatar n tn At first i found an itchy patch under my arm and thought nothing of it till the next day, it had developed into rashes and had spread to my neck and shoulder. When i went to see my GP, he had to ask for a second opinion as he though they were some kind of bites but the send GP had put it down to Shaving infections, even though i had stressed that i only use tweezers, he insisted that they were the same thing!!! And was prescribed anit-biotics both orally & cream form for 7 days.

Avatar m tn I kissed someone around 1 am on a Sunday. On Sunday I got lip blisters around 9pm. Is it possible for lip blisters to form that quickly? I had no flu-like symptoms and the tickling started after the blisters formed. There was no red base under the blisters and the fluid was clear.
Avatar f tn Sounds like a type of eczema. Sometimes eczema is exasperated by one's diet, because eczema is affected by food sensitivities. Cold sore medications are ineffective if this is eczema. Eczema is also known as the itch that rashes, which is why the little bumps get worse if you pick at them. The usual consensus for foods to avoid when you have eczema are gluten and dairy. There are others, but these are the big ones. They definitely affect my eczema.
Avatar f tn I've had a scabby type sore on my index finger and light peel on lip since birth. My lip and finger were joined at birth. It has spread slowly and popped up on other fingers. There is also hard bumps covering a small amount of my hand. Sometimes one part of the scab gets pus under it. It goes white and very irritated when i surf in the ocean.

Avatar f tn I am a 22 year old female who for the last couple of years have suffered with darkening of lips. I suffer from eczema so i dont know if this is a contributory factor but i have periods where my lip darkens and but then goes away, only this time the lips is getting more pigmented and shows no signs of getting better. Please Please help me ive cried over this so many times because no seems to have an answer for it and its really starting to affect my confidence. Thank you so much for your time.
Avatar f tn I have these light spots under my nose. It isnt vitiligo or eczema. It doesnt hurt or anything it is just physically displeasing.I am on Tretinoin, Hydroquinone, ****** SA Cleanser, and (occasionally) Cetaphil Moisturizer. I do not think it is any of my products, but it could be, as I tried weening off of them all to find the source.
Avatar f tn I quickly realised that the skin around my eye started to become red, itchy and scaly, reminiscent of eczema or some other dermatological condition, and this red scaliness was particularly bad on the eyelid. In fact, it gave the skin around my eye a badly wrinkled, slightly swollen appearance. I would wake up in the mornings and find my left eye “glued together” with this crusty, faintly yellow stuff and I would have to pry it open. After about a week of this, I visited a doctor.
Avatar n tn She also gave me a topical steroid which has helped the scaly dry patches under my eyes but not so much on my upper lip which is the most uncomfortable. I have a follow up appt today to have the stitches removed and hopefully will get more information. She wanted to rule out auto immune disorders with the biopsy. Again, thank you very much for your time and suggestions. Regards.

Avatar f tn The dermatologist I saw said it was eczema, since I have eczema on other parts of my body. He advised against using lip balms. He prescribed Protopic. I've used it very sparingly since it has a black box warning. I believe it warns against using it on open sores, so it seemed counter-intuitive to use it on the cold-sore-like things. Right now, I'm concerned that since I smoke cigarettes, the crack in my lip could be oral cancer.
Avatar n tn Hello, Firstly, It can be due to vit B deficiency. Take some vitamin B complex for some days and see if your symptoms improve. Secondly, it can be due to atopic dermatitis or eczema("Atopic" refers to a group of diseases where there is often an inherited tendency to develop other allergic conditions, such as asthma and hay fever). Cheilitis(Inflammation of the skin on and around the lips)is often seen in atopic dermatitis.
Avatar n tn You may need to have this assessed by a dermatologist as a topical lip medication may be given here. A lip balm with sunscreen may also help. However, if an infection is present, then this has to be treated first. The scales or the peeled membranes may be microscopically evaluated and cultured to help guide treatment. The presence of a foul odor may be due to a infection. Has your mom been assessed along this line?
