My dermatologist once told me I had the worst case she had ever seen! Her Rx for me was fluocinonide topical solution, 0.05%. I was instructed to wash my hair every day with a mild hypoallergenic shampoo and only slightly warm water, then apply a little bit of solution carefully, so as to treat all affected areas of the scalp without wasting it on the hair. This method works well for me.

Avatar n tn i too have had these same frustrating, insanely, itchy areas, which first started on my left palm, i've had that for months.... its a bit different than the bumbs i get on my legs... but my palm is getting better. at first it just started iching. then i got some bumbs. it gets real dry and started like it was peeling. from the beginning, i've put all kinds of lotions on it. it'd help, i'd get some relief but it never went away. after a while i thought it must be some form of e = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>eczema.

It doesn't work! Right now I have the itching, swelling, pain and fluid on a regular basis. The person I spoke with, that has the same problem, said that it's allergy related and I should get wheat products out of my diet. I am going to give this a try and see what happens.

I take a multi-<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>vitamin for women, and Vita e and B supplements. Drink GReeN juices often. 80% of diet vegetarian. I live in a big city- and, I admit, do go out and drink now and then. I sometimes wonder if this might have anything to do with it. Treatments so far: Been to SIX dermatologists. First, in 2001 I had bad acne (now entirely clear)- and I went on Accutane for 8 months. I think this might have triggered it! I never had e = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>eczema before Accutane.

Avatar n tn My dermatologist recommended CeraVe cream, which does help me. Taking <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>vitamin D, Fish Oil, and changing my diet all have helped a lot. I hope my experience can help some others out there. I know how frustrating it can be, and wish you well.

Avatar m tn I have tried hydrocortisone cream, neosporin, <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>vitamin e, and so on. I am thirteen, and have many allergies (and a slight case of hand e = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>eczema), and I have started allergy shots beginning last month. Avatar n tn Moisturizers should be reapplied liberally during the day.You can also use a topical cortisone (steroid) cream or ointment like dermacort(hydrocortisone). Adding a humidifier to the central heating system of your home or using a humidifier also helps. If still the symptoms persisit then possibility of e = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>eczema or atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, ichthyosis (fish scale-like skin) or pitted keratolysis is there.

923127 tn?1244570739 I am taking <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>vitamin e orally each day to help with my skin, but it has had little effect on this rash even when placed directly on it. In the past these rashes have lasted up to four or five months before finally dissipating and eventually healing, leaving me large scars. I cannot find any photos of skin conditions online that match what I see on my body. The skin is inflamed with tiny fluid filled bumps that have spread into a (I hesitate to use this word) mass.
Avatar n tn However, then I started to get these little red bumps - they look kinda like pimples but they really itch, and when I scratch them (which I try not to do) clear ooze comes out. I stopped using the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>vitamin e oil, and I started to apply hydrocortisone cream (Hydrocortisone Valerate Cream USP, 0.2%) at night for about 12 days. The hydrocortisone cream almost immediately cleared up my skin, but about a week after I stopped using it the itchy red bumps started to come back.
Avatar n tn My son has a odd shaped patch of ringworm on his face that started ~4 weeks ago and went misdiagnosed as <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>eczema (cortisone cream was used), then a bacterial infection (fucidin was prescribed). The sore wasn’t getting better, and was actually spreading. It wasn’t until my other son got a patch on his arm that was a perfect ring that I realized that the reason both creams hadn’t worked. I started treating both of them with a 1% clotrimazole over the counter cream.

Avatar n tn They LOOK red and cracked, but don't feel sore or dry. Also, the problem looks worse when I have put some kind of strain on my fingers (or the skin), e.g when I have been writing, or carrying heavy bags!

Avatar f tn I've tried a bunch of things but the only thing that works is to cut open a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>vitamin e capsule and place on the area before bed. It is an oil and does not mix well with makeup. After 2 consecutive applications it will now be apart of my nightly ritual but maybe once a week. If you have pcos like me I highly recommend e = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>vitamin A and e to take internally daily.
