I also believe the sun and sea helped alot.I have returned to london and the symptoms are back except for the lesions as of yet. I have been taking the Centrizine but it is not effective anymore. Avatar m tn 34/Male born and raised in Mumbai,India I came to Canada in 2007 and recently first I was in Totonto, Ontario for 2 year then I moved to Calgary,Alberta and now back London,Ontario in June end. Weather wise Ontario is good, it is hot and humid similar to Mumbai and Calgary was very cold and dry. 2 weeks ago I started developing a rash on my forehead and right arm, nothing on the left arm. This rash started growing slowly and is tichy with scales/flakes of skin.
Avatar m tn In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. Medical research shows that the most effective treatment plan for eczema involves using a combination of therapies to treat the skin and making lifestyle changes(prevention of triggers and application of lots of moisturizers) to control flare-ups. If the eczema is more severe, phototherapy (a type of treatment that uses light therapy) or systemic (circulates throughout the body) medication like oral steroids may be prescribed.

Avatar m tn 16. I received an injection of 2.4 million units of Benzathine Penicillin. That night I experienced typical Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction: my rash got much worse, fever, etc. but that passed in about 18 hours. When I got back to the states I had a second blood test to confirm the test in London (two weeks after receiving the penicillin injections) and that came back with a RPR titer of 1:32.

Avatar m tn Hello, Eczema is characterised by red, dry patches which are itchy. If the rash is non itchy then it can be pityriasis alba. Pityriasis alba is a common skin condition mostly occurring in children and usually seen as dry, fine-scaled, pale patches on the face. No treatment is required and the patches in time will settle in due course of time. The redness, scale and itch if present may be managed with simple emollients and sometimes hydrocortisone, a weak steroid, is also used.
