My 8 year old daughter has a bumpy rash on both of her elbows. They are not red, they are the same color as her skin and they are about the size of small pimples. The sometimes itch and she has had them for a few months. Her elbows are a bit dry. She does not like me to put anything on them, she says it burns. Any advice?

I recently had a serious eczema flare up and it was also on my inner elbows. The redness has gone away but it is very dry and the creases on my inner elbows are dark in colour. This is on both of my elbows.
I moisturize the skin 3 times a day (with aveeno dermexa moisturizing cream) but it is still very dry.
I have itchy and red my palms,heels, elbows and knees.Saw dermatologist many times no improvement.My hands look terrible.

It could be an eczema present in the buttocks.The term eczema is broadly applied to a range of persistent skin conditions. 1. Started with incredibly dry elbows, worse than has ever happened. Itching soon follows, along with red bumps, and since then I've started moisturizing. The thick sections of dead skin have peeled away and my elbows are fine, save for still itching sometimes, and the bumpy texture isn't completely gone.

Sounds like eczema. I have eczema, too. If you research "eczema diet", you will see that the consensus is that we should definitely avoid gluten and dairy. Some of us are more sensitive to gluten and dairy so we figure this out a bit sooner than not. The above suggestions are right on the money and will make a huge difference, but going gluten and dairy free is also very important.
I occasionally break out with itchy, painful bumps on my knuckles and elbows. They are skin-colored or slightly reddened, hardish bumps, no weeping or oozing at all. If I lean just right on my elbow they cause sharp pain. I believe it may be viral of some sort, because they seem to only appear when life is stressful. s last week for a hug spotted rash on her torso. After a few days, it went to the top of her buttocks, neck and elbows. A few months prior to that, my 16 month old son was diagnosed with Eczema and the doctor just told me to use the over the counter Eczema cream for babies. So, when this same rash appeared on my daugther, I used this cream, but it continued to get worse.
Im 15 years old and my elbows are slightly red and almost feel like they are burning a little bit. They are red/pink in colour and are a little bit dry. Do you think this is because of the weather? It's very cold outside. Or could it be resting on them? I'm not sure.
I have this rash on my elbows knees buttocks and pubic region shoulders armpits and my neck.
I have a skin biopsy tomorrow and I was wondering what this rash could be associated with?
I got blood work done for all stds and nothing came back positive.
Could herpes cause eczema? Or my blood tests won't pick up HIV or an std? But they'll be able to find it in my skin?

My husband has had eczema for 20 years and is currently 38 years old. He has been prescribed several creams, none of which work very well. The eczema is on his lower legs and arms, is extremely itchy, large areas are raised, crusty, and often bleeding & infected due to his scratching. The doctors have suggested he have allergy testing.

You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
I also noticed smaller bumps on her elbows. Is this a rash or a virus. At first i thought it was warts, but would warts be on all four elbows and knees? So far its been 5 days and i did start to apply A+D original Ointment. She also uses TRIAMCINOLONE 0.0025% cream for Vitiligo which she has around the pelvic area. we have been using this for about two weeks. Could this be a reaction from the cream?
I did make an appointment to see her DR.

After doing a bit more research, I stumbled across a few websites that stated there is a correlation between streptococcal bacteria and a form of psoriasis, called guttate psoriasis. Have you ever heard of this? After looking into this form of psoriasis, it seemed rather fitting. The rash on my body did present itself as sporadic, circular dots with a bit of a white "crust". They never blistered, oozed, or bled.
Hey, can anyone help me for about a week or so now i've had dry, scaly, sore, itchy skin on both my elbows, when I do itch it, it bleeds a small bit. It's getting quite painful and annoying. Any help or advice would be great.
I think it's eczema and it is spreading from your nails as you itch I have had eczema for 18 years and it gets worse you should get it checked
I have developed patches on my skin on my ankle bones they have become dry and scaly which peal and becomes raw and irritated at time if I scratch it.
