I have what doctors call eczema. It started of January this year and is the first time I have ever had eczema. It came all of a sudden and covers my entire body. It is red and sometimes bumpy but sometimes smooth. Always swollen and extremely itchy everywhere. I scratch so much that it bleeds because I cant stop. my skin doesn't feel like skin anymore it feels like whats underneath the skin now because of all the scratching. its near impossible to sleep at night because of the scratching.
It has now been 6 weeks of treatment with cryotherapy. I believe that the areas the Doctor is now treating are probably nothing to be concerned about. If they are in fact warts this treatment seems to be extremely ineffective. I find this situation extremely frustrating as I am a 20 year old male, non-smoker, and in good physical condition, having had only 3 sexual partners.
To increase my problems I am currently living in Canada but heading off to England for three months in 10 days.

What is the best treatment for vaginal Eczema. I have this for years now, it comes and goes. I use Calendula gel when I have symptoms, it seems to help but not completely. Is there something that I can use that is more effective. It is very uncomfortable. Burning sensation, etc. I had a biopsy done a few years ago and results came back (SPONGIOTIC DERMATITIS) which I been told is like ECZEMA.

Eczema is characterised by red, dry patches which are itchy. If the rash is non itchy then it can be pityriasis alba. Pityriasis alba is a common skin condition mostly occurring in children and usually seen as dry, fine-scaled, pale patches on the face.
No treatment is required and the patches in time will settle in due course of time. The redness, scale and itch if present may be managed with simple emollients and sometimes hydrocortisone, a weak steroid, is also used.
