I have but because I'm so stressed in my life the past 2 years, (battling homosexyalitu and fear of hiv) all meds for eczema are not working.. I break out directly into extreme eczema all over my body and they bleed all the time.. so now I'm so scared of touching people of being sexual as explained in my post above because I'm scared that the semen actually gets into an eczema.. I hope I get over with this hiv fear it's running all my life and I'm tired of this..

What treatment plan is your son on for the eczema? My daughter has it. As long as she is using her ointment, she doesn't have a problem. If she stops using it and flares, she cannot tolerate even mildly warm water. We have found that sun exposure helps her very much. She only flares in the fall and winter when she doesn't get outside as much. This could be related to vitamin D levels. You may want to take you son to a dermatologist or allergist to find an effective treatment plan.

so my sister has the saame thing and she uses many different things. somof the creams she uses are cetaphil. it is acpeap oc cream.

Hi, I've been taking baths for the past week because I have eczema all over my body and it helps me alot when I take a bath with Epsom salt. I do want to continue with the Epsom salt bath because my eczema is large scale all over my body. However, my period came today and I don't know whether it's healthy to take a bath while I'm on my period. I have my own bathroom and bath tub. Would it be okay to continue with my bath if I'm on my period? Thanks!

I have been diagnosed with mild eczema on the base of my penis shaft. I have 3 or 4 red area's that I just cannot get to go away, it feels dry and is almost painful. I have been trying to not use the steroid cream too much but it seems like the only thing that really makes it feel better. Should I try not using anything? Would using the steroid cream too much keep the area red overall? Would anyone have any suggestions on the best moisturizer to use in that area for eczema?

Neena's 3 months old now and she gets a bath every other day. She LOVES he bath - she think it's quite the spa treatment. Hell I'd like it too if someone ran me a bath of the perfect temperature, then shampooed my hair, then washed me all over etc. :o) I don't think they really need a bath every day when they are newborns.

My son had eczema. I used eczema lotion I think it was aveno along with eczema otemeal baths. It's a powder that comes in little packets you put in the bath water. I also used dreft baby detergent and organic sent free soap for the bath. Also don't bathe baby too often that will dry the skin out even more.

Sorry Your rash actually does sound like eczema. I believe it's called discoid eczema. Round coin sized red rashes that may or may not itch. definitely not cancer. Did he give you a prescription for cortisone. He should have also told you to get short cool showers and use body wash not soap. Then moisturize!!

i also have eczema breakouts in other parts of my body but ive been using Aveeno soothing bath treatments and its been working, it relieves my itching and the eczema is disappearing, you can put it in your bath water or if your not taking a bath at the time and need some relief you can make a paste out of it and rub it on the skin that way....just pour the aveeno powder in the palm of your hand and damp it with water making the paste as thick as you like....

You won't cure eczema, you can just reduce flare ups.

To help with eczema get some Cortizone Eczema Lotion. Its betweeen $8-$10 a bottle.I ewas instructed not to put ANYTHINGthat has a scent to it on my sons skin becabecause it makes it worse and sunscreen has a scent and I've never heard of that helping either.

I had a nasty case of eczema years back. My skin would flake on my elbows and it was nothing for it to itch so bad that it bleed. Perhaps it may help what is bothering you and if not a skin doctor is by far, in my opinion, your best start. Good luck.

Try taking an oatmeal bath avino has the stuff that you put in the bath its like oatmeal but its I don't know but um And helps alot alot :-)

Benadryl cream and hydrocortizone cream are ineffective, and the itching appears to be worse at night after a bath. I have not changed any detergents or soaps, so I am not sure if it is some sort of allergic reaction, but it is so odd that the whelps only occur after the scratching. I would be grateful for any help or feedback. Thank you.
