2040835 tn?1329869995 Can anyone help? I was born with eczema but slowly grew out of it (I'm 32 now). I would get some mild eczema when on holidays by the sea along with my skin allergies, hayfever and asthma. This would normally bother me for up to 5 days an then would clear. I moved from Europe (UK) to Australia where I was hoping all my skin conditions would disappear forever, well at least my dermatologist back home was a strong believer of that.
Avatar m tn s environmental to where I live because I lived in London and it happened there and now I live in Australia and it happens here too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn honey and used a Manuka honey Eczema cream for 2 weeks and no more symptoms. Both products are a really strong natural antibiotic and anti bacterial and the combination worked. The honey has to be "Manuka" (from the Manuka Tree) and there is a medical grade available with 10+ actives, available from chemists (in Australia). The cream is a Manuka honey Eczema Cream from the chemist or probably health food shops too.
Avatar m tn I went to an erotic massage venue in Sydney, Australia earlier today. I received a massage in which myself and the lady were both nude. There was no genital-to-genital contact but there was hand relief and she did touch my penis frequently throughout the massage. After the massage, I realised that the lady has eczema. She said that this was the reason for the red marks on the inside joints of her arms (ie adjacent to the elbows) and her legs.
Avatar n tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be dyshidrotic eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g.

Avatar m tn I am not sure which blood test is being used, the results are reported for HSV 1 and 2, and the test is performed in Australia. All other STI tests have been negative as well as blood chemistry, thyroid function, blood sugar and liver function tests. My doctor has told me that theres no evidence of herpes and that he can refer me to a urologist if I choose.

Could I have caught it from him, esp if I have eczema (the eczema is not severe at all) Am pretty alone in a new town, trying to get into doctors and this is a little of a wild goose chase. So, your advice is certainly appreciated and very helpful. Thank you so much!
Avatar f tn Do you think Australia will eventually use rapid hiv tests to combat the hiv rates in Australia. I know Australia has great resources but read that they have not implemented point of care rapid tests.
Avatar m tn Your wife should avoid hot water (wear gloves if she has to wash dishes), fragranced lotions, and other harsh chemicals. Also, sunlight helps to alleviate symptoms. My daughter only has symptoms in the late fall and winter months. They clear from mid-April through about mid-September or October. With that thought, vitamin D is vital to many functions of the body. Your wife might want her doctor to check her vitamin D level to make sure that it is not low.

Avatar n tn join the crowd. It's called eczema. A horrible disease that doctors don't care about. It's a life sentence of torture and misery. The only thing you can do is take shorter cooler showers with oilatum not soap. Then apply moisturizer all over. This will make it improve. Some people have this so bad they can't live any kind of normal life. You will not see any money being spent on a cure because it's rare and won't kill you. Also try increasing the humidity in your house.
Avatar f tn A few days later, I have an itchy red rash on my arm. It feels rough as well. I have eczema so I wanna believe its that but I'm going insane. Can anyone tell me why my symptoms aren't ARS related? What kind of rash would I expect if I had ARS? Thanks.
Avatar m tn it appears to be an "eczema" disease. i'v been experiencing it for 2 years and it spreaded from my middle, to the 2nd, 4th and now the 1st finger (only right hand). So the finger's skin made a cycle, where it peeled, and then it grows the newer one but its thick and theres no fingrprint in it, then it goes back to peeling and again. (But in a small area).
Avatar f tn Could it be eczema or something else? I have never had eczema, so this would seem weird to me if it is and to just have it in one isolated spot. Should I see my doctor? Thank you!
