Avatar n tn but now im wondering if it could even be a system yeast infection. after the itch my symptoms have gotten worse and not better..and i thought herpes was it comes and leaves. i thought it was yeast because i know i have a terrible diet and my symptoms got bad..but after i ate garlic these past two days they have been getting a little bette. its weird because my pubic and gential area itches but hair is also growing there.
569705 tn?1217017492 I have had it since Aug 2007. The dr. gave me pamphlets on hand eczema and the paper said that some eczema is associated with a fungus that also affects the soles of your feet. When I intially went to the dr my feet where already infected. The nails on my hands are also discolored and grow in what I can only describe has "ripples" and crumble off. I have been seeing this dr since January and am not happy with my progress.

Frequently and with certain conditions, especially anything with an allergy tie, there is a lot of trial and error before the best treatment plan for the patient is found. My daughter uses Amlactin lotion (an OTC lotion). Some people use something that has uric acid in it that works well for them but I can't remember the name right now. I think it begins with a C. It did nothing for my daughter.

Topical medication like mild steroids(hydrocortisone)to higher-potency steroid is frequently prescribed. If the eczema is more severe, phototherapy (a type of treatment that uses light therapy) or systemic (circulates throughout the body) medication like oral steroids may be prescribed.

Avatar f tn I was a vegan for a couple of months about a year ago and stopped as I had orange oil droplets that floated on the top of the water come out of my stool and when I wiped it was orange too, when it went away blood came out in my stool instead, I also had abdominal pains and ulcers. However when I stopped my eczema came back and even worse!

They do not cure eczema, but are highly effective in controlling or suppressing symptoms in most cases.
