Avatar f tn hey everyone (: I'm just under 14 weeks with my first and this winter pregnancy has already taken its toll! I have had the absolute WORST eczema you can imagine. I am not exaggerating at all when I say my entire body is covered in scabby patches of this horrible ailment. My younger brother always had it bad in the winter but I was always blessed with near flawless skin. This little one sure has thrown me for a loop!
630344 tn?1280104983 I don't know if this really counts as a natural remedy, but I found that giving my diet a make-over kind helped me a little with symptoms. The impact wasn't super substantial, but I am a believer that if it provides even slight relief--go for it. A little relief is better then no relief right? Anyhow, I started eating as many unprocessed foods as possible and also try to buy organic.
Avatar n tn I've had eczema my entire life and it's NEVER been as bad as it is now. I just gave birth a little over a month ago, but my skin now is soo irritated and itchy I can't even sleep at night. It's made it hard to move or take showers. It burns. I've had perscription steroid cremes every type of lotion out there. And all my dermato wants to do is use the same cremes. I NEED RELIEF!! Does anyone know a natural way to ease the eczema pain?
Avatar n tn I have run across a powerful natural remedy called Mangosteen Juice. Has anyone else ever tried this stuff??

Avatar f tn Puppps is a rare skin rash you get typically during the last month if pregnancy and for no known reason. It doesn't respond to allergy pills or virtually any "natural" remedy. Basically it's terrible. Please please please do not comment about "waiting it out"; it's not helpful. It's torture. Asking those who have actually been through this.
Avatar m tn Try not to scratch in future, but cool the itching down by washing with cold water, apply calomine lotion which you can get from the pharmacist. As a good home remedy you can apply lots of natural set yogurt to cool down the itchiness. A doctor would prescribe the appropriate cream or ointment, antibiotic, antifungal cream or a combination of antifungal and antibacterial cream, depending what was causing the problem.
Avatar m tn A natural remedy that seems to help relatively quickly is 5HTP. It is a natural enzyme. My daughter uses between 50 to 100 mg a day.It seems to help her quite a bit.
Avatar f tn You might want to do this with a naturopath, who can guide you remedy by remedy to see how you react and what works, since it's trial and error. And you must find a talk therapist, perhaps one specializing in CBT, since that's the key. Some say acupuncture helps.
