In 10/2007, I saw a dermatologist and showed him my face and wrist area and a few spots on my thigh. No biopsies or skin scraping was done. He gave me 10 days of ketoconazole 200mg and my face cleared within 3 days. I was given fluticasone propionate .05% cream for the area on my thigh and wrist. This cream was another corticosteroid which I was wanting to get off of. Perhaps I should have been on a cream fungi maint after the oral?

I also notice the same numbness whenenever I ride my bike after 20 minutes or so. There also is a rash (?) on my index finger than resembles eczema on the backside of the finger and just dry dead skin on the side and palmside of the finger. What could be causing this? What should I do? I do not experience the same numbness with my left hand at all!!

I don't think I've ever had eczema as a kid but I have developed these rashes in my wrist that have been there once before. Does anyone know what they could be??

Later on left and right wrist, but now it gone. Last 4-5years started on thigh now still here and look like eczema. My skin seem so sensitive and easy to be itchy if I wear long tight or wet clothes many hour, clean dishes or wash clothes. how to completely cure it forever? I'm a contact lenses user for 3-4years and I use them everyday. My contact lenses are always 1year disposable. I really need to use them. So, is it possible that eczema or ringworm spread to my eyes?

I've had these two incredibly itchy 1/2" blistered, red, raised, bumpy rashes on my wrist for a week now. Hi, This could be eczema, dermatitis, allergic reaction etc. You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .

I've been getting these strange hives on my left wrist (and ONLY my left wrist) for the last month or so. They are extremely itchy and sometimes change shape when I'm watching them. Tiny red dots appear on and around my wrist when the hives break out. About a week ago I had a tiny little bump the size of a sewing pin-head on my wrist and it itched but I left it be. Over the last week and a half-ish it has spread to red welt-like blotches all over my one arm, and a few spots here and there on my other arm. The itching has intensified and the spots have gotten bigger. The first one I noticed is now the size of a river pebble. My new boyfriend has genital herpes and has been symptom free for 2 years (Carriers can transmit the disease without having any symptoms of an active infection). He also has eczema on both his inner thighs (a few inches below his genitalia). The eczema sites appear red and irritated though I am unaware of any discharge from them. s not the first time that it happened. Back in early January I woke up with itchyness on my wrist 3 bumps that looked like mosquito bites, didn't think anything of it. Next day it got worse, my fore arm started to get swollen, and red, still itchy. Check out "lichen schlerosos" online in a medical dictionary that shows pictures, and see if you can find some pictures on dark skin, and read the description. Maybe that's what's going on. The other thing that it might be is vitiligo, but I've never heard that it hits the pubic area more (or sooner) than other places on the body.

Hello! Yesterday I fell from a bike and landed on my right hand. A harsh pain in my right wrist appeared. I then went to a doctor who did an X-ray of my hand and said I don't have any bones cracked. The problem is that I still have severe pain in my wrist, and I would like an experts opinion to double check the film the doctor gave me. Hello, From the symptoms it sounds like eczema. Fungal infections can also present with such symptoms but the lesions are red, itchy, mosit and may have a foul smell. What you can do is get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings to rule out any fungal infection. Allergy tests for eczema will also help. Treatment can then be planned. It is mostly antihistaminics and steroid for eczema and antifungals for fungal infection.

But the bump I have down there I have compared to infected hair follicle pictures and it matches, but so does some pictures of a genital herpes bump. And I have looked at breakouts on lips and compared from eczema break outs and rashes and herpes and they match all there in some pictures. So I'm just confused and idk what to do or think, but idk if I'm breaking out because im stressed, and curious as to what is going on with me.

Looking at pictures, I do not have any lesions or white pimple looking bumps that a lot of the pictures have. But I do have red areas on my penis though. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and he said it is not Herpes, but he is just a general practitioner doctor. Any more insight?
