Common Questions and Answers about Eczema pictures on feet

eczema

Avatar m tn By Tuesday evening I noticed that I had formed itchy blisters along the inside of both feet, more on the right than the left. There were also some small ones forming on the toes. All are very itchy. I looked around on the internet, finding things such as dyshidrotic eczema, but also read that blisters like these could be symptomatic of syphilis. I saw my primary physician on Wednesday and explained the situation and my concern given the timing.
Avatar n tn They start showing up under my palms and on my feet, and soon spread to being clear bumps with clear liquid inside between my fingers and on the sides of my feet and toes. I sweat a lot on my hands and feet, and that is where they show up. They do not itch, except when they get really bad, like lately- then my palms and sides of my feet itch like crazy. Here are a few pictures of what it looks like right now. Any help regarding what this is and how to deal with it is greatly appreciated!
1388714 tn?1279920927 These bumps appear under either side of my ankle near the heel/sole of my feet on the sides and usually form in groups of around 4 or 5 then just go away and re appear in different areas on my foot usually on the sole. My guy gets grossed out by them, its really embarassing and makes me feel bad about my self.. any advice? Im a 21 y/o female, I noticed these bumps when I was pregnant a few years ago and they have come up again and again since then.
Avatar m tn This could be psoriasis, ectopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, discoid eczema or any other eczema. Please consult a skin specialist. Take care!
Avatar f tn My 95 year old mother has had a rash with occasional open sores on her ankles and lower calves. It seems to be climbing up the calf on both legs. Her feet get small red bumps, but her ankle takes the brunt of the rash. She is not diabetic, is not bedridden, has had an ankle brachial test that came out fine. She's had 9 other blood tests that also came out fine. She's had a carotid artery test which also came out ok for a 95 year old.
Avatar f tn Though the thickening of his skin seems to have dissipated on his hands, they still continue to peel in thinner layers and only on a the edges of where the old skin and new skin meet. His feet are still rough and hard in some spots. I've wondered whether it could be an irritant causing such a reaction, but I can't think of what it could be since he has had it day in day out for over a year. I mean, we've changed soaps etc., laundry detergents...
Avatar m tn Looking at pictures, I do not have any lesions or white pimple looking bumps that a lot of the pictures have. But I do have red areas on my penis though. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and he said it is not Herpes, but he is just a general practitioner doctor. Any more insight?
Avatar m tn As I mentioned, some weird things like eczema appeared on my leg 1 week after (close to my penis). I used an eczema cream and it has almost disappeared from the first leg but starts appearing on the other one at the same place... Please check the picture attached: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/716/img1499fu.jpg/ I am scared about Syphilis... Any idea about what it is ? Eczema due to stress ? Syphilis ? An other disease ?
Avatar f tn Hi, I have been having painful/itchy blisters that show up inbetween my toes, on the sides of my toes and on both sides of my feet. They are filled with clear odoress oil-like liquid which doesn't seem to be infectious. If I pop them they get itchier and usually the area starts to hurt. If I leave them, they usually eventually dissapate leaving a scale that comes off. All around the area where the blister was then usually starts the same proccess over again.
Avatar n tn Then 2 days ago she seems to have the blotchy red rash on her feet. I have taken her to the doctor and they said it is not hand foot and mouth. They think it's eczema. However, the entire family seems to have this sore hand symptom with some bumps but not the redness or blotchy areas.
Avatar m tn s been about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks, I started getting some little bumps on my hands and feet that were slightly itchy. Then there were more bumps and red. They are not extremely itchy. But now they have cracked and dried some. I'm not sure how best to describe it so here are some pictures. Is this some type of dermatitis, eczema, or is it scabies? http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a632/Michael_Gustin/Yeah/IMG_0012_zpstucigggc.jpg http://i1287.photobucket.
Avatar f tn Hi, Dyshidrotic Eczema is deep-seated, itchy, blistering rash that usually occurs at the palms of the hands, sides of fingers, or on the soles of the feet. It was initially thought to be caused by the trapping of sweat but is now believed to be caused by an inherited allergic response.
Avatar f tn Hello, I always get an itchy spot on random parts of my body constantly for years. For example, I always get an itchy spot in the middle of the palm of my hand and i'll itch it/dig my nail into it and it will turn into a blister/red and then it will eventually not be itchy and heal and go away. But then a month or couple weeks later it will become itchy in the exact same spot. This happens in the middle of the bottom of my feet and on the side as well. Why does this keep happening?
Avatar n tn Hello, From the pictures it looke like eczema. . It is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, certain foods, plants, metals, cosmetics, dust mites etc. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
Avatar n tn Updating you on my dyshidrotic eczema on my hands and bottom of my feet. I was using the steroid cream my dr gave me and following your advice about washing my hands and using a good lotion. Nothing was working and I felt like actually getting worse. I had some Zyrtec and started taking one a day for a week and it's basically working!! Very few itchy areas pop up once a day or less! Thanks for the advice!!
Avatar n tn If I touch the area at this time it seems to speed up the the itching intensity. I have tried Hydrocortizone cream to no avail. Putting it on sometimes brings the itching on because I've rubbed the area. Any suggestions?
Avatar m tn I'm 18 years old, male. I've had this patch for a while. I haven't been outside without my shirt on in a few years so it wouldn't be anything sun related. It doesn't itch. Skin feels raised. Here are some pictures of it. http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp53/random409389/IMG_0418.jpg http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp53/random409389/IMG_0424.
578950 tn?1217771704 Just to update on the situation, looks like I had athletes foot on my foot, which then shocked my immune system into having a bought of eczema, it was not athletes foot on my hands, those little bumpy things, that was eczema! So it was misdiagnosed by the Dr's on this site. Eczema came on my feet, fingers and hands, as a result of the athletes foot making my immune system have some kind of a reaction.
Avatar n tn Unfortunately from looking at the pictures around Eczema, it does not really look like the bumps that I have on my finger. There is typically no redness around the bumps. About a year ago, I was diagnosed through an anonymous testing service with HSV-1. From doing a lot of research and seeing pictures, I'm scared that the bumps are from the possibility of having herpes whitlow.
Avatar m tn Hi, ever since my wife was a little girl the skin on her palms the soles of her feet do not exfoliate correctly. They build up really rough and thick. She sometimes peels the thick skin off in pieces and the skin is smooth underneath. Certain times they get really red as well. Have you ever heard of this disorder? I would like to find out more if possible. All the doctors we've been to have not been able to diagnose. Thank you.
Avatar n tn It started on the insides of my ankle about a year ago and since has moved on to my 3rd,4th,and 5th digit toes on both of my feet! As you can see it is bright red and has a definite shape on the three toes. I also have tiny small red bumps that extend from my big toe up the tendon on the top of my feet. This rash burns and itches like fire!! After about a week it turns to thick grayish scales that peel off in small sheets and expose tender bleeding skin beneath.
Avatar f tn Just went to the doctor, I have been dealing with excessive sweating on my feet for about 2 years now. It even sweats when I don't have any socks or shoes on. I now have chronic blisters that will not go away on one toe and swelling. Went to see a doctor and I told her I tried using Tenactin and Lamisel but it made things worst. She gave me over the counter. Zeasorb and 1% hydrocortizone. Well put zeasorb on and got the same reaction as if I just sprayed Tenactin.
Avatar m tn Recently, I developed a cluster of small blisters appeared on one of my right hand fingers. Initially, I observed tiny clear blisters on back of my finger. After a couple of days, the blisters became red and expanded to cover a relatively wider area; it was extremely itchy. I then developed another cluster of blisters on the bottom of my left thumb. The blisters were raised and extremely itchy. Fortunately, I had an appointment with my Doctor for annual checkup when I had the blisters.
