Check out "lichen schlerosos" online in a medical dictionary that shows pictures, and see if you can find some pictures on dark skin, and read the description. Maybe that's what's going on. The other thing that it might be is vitiligo, but I've never heard that it hits the pubic area more (or sooner) than other places on the body.

I've had kind of a scab-like sore on the top of my ear for at least a year now. It won't heal and go away. I'm pretty sure it was caused by continuous exposure to sun/skin peeling/healing, on and on. Hello, Although the pictures resemble lesions of dyshidrotic eczema but since there is no itching,so this diagnosis needs to be reviewed. In my opinion,consultation of a dermatologist will be the best. Hope it helps.Take care and regards.

I even bought Aveeno Eczema Therapy moisturizing cream, cetaphil soap (non-scented, of course), aveeno eczema body wash, etc. I don't even use scented lotions or perfumes or body spray. I tried bio oil for a while but it only dries it up and doesn't improve it. I try to not take hot showers (I adjust the temperature to keep it warm) but every time I do take a shower, I have the urge to scratch my skin.

oh grace - i don't know any of these answers but i thank you so much for mentioning them...i have a list of questions im going to ask him. he has cream for the eczema, he SAYS it's eczema - i did not hear any of this straight from a doctor. I think what we're going to have to do is sit down with a doctor....

I would probably favour one of the ezema or lichen planus, but if you upload pictures of the rest of the rash that would give me a better idea. Regardless you will need to use a potent steroid like clobetasol propionate for a couple of weeks and reduce to a less stronger steroid like clobetasone butyrate. As I mentioned, some weird things like eczema appeared on my leg 1 week after (close to my penis). I used an eczema cream and it has almost disappeared from the first leg but starts appearing on the other one at the same place... Thanks for your response auntiejessi. I don't want to doubt a diagnosis of eczema, trust me. Currently I truly don't believe my girlfriend cheated on me, but my fear was that these bumps could be something else that my dermatologist and I weren't considering.

But I have recently started breaking out on my neck a little and it looks like a case of eczema or rashes, and on my lips I have a lot of bumps that have appeared and on my chin and on my lower face. My lips itch extremely bad, and the bumps will go down then come back a little, and when I scratched before it got a little worse so I don't scratch. I do use neosporin for pretty much everything and it works.

Herpes is typically multiple painful blisters on the genitals, and what you describe doesn't sound like herpes. If you shave then it could be folliculitis or irritation from the razor. Be seen by a doctor to have the area swabbed as soon as possible. If you don't get it swabbed then have a HSV type specific IgG blood test taken three months post exposure.

Looking at pictures, I do not have any lesions or white pimple looking bumps that a lot of the pictures have. But I do have red areas on my penis though. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and he said it is not Herpes, but he is just a general practitioner doctor. Any more insight?
