eczema

Avatar f tn Hello, From the symptoms and pictures,it looks like nummular eczema(stubborn, itchy rash that forms coin-shaped patches on the skin.Found mainly in adults but can oocur in children also) , hives(red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours. Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known.
Avatar f tn Try Aveeno products the have body wash for eczema and lotion for it as well.
1337810 tn?1333807530 If you feel that the eczema maybe allergy related, then suggest going to an Allergist for him to get tested so you know for sure. If he is allergic to a food type, then you would know what foods to feed him or not.
Avatar n tn in my eyebrows, the bridge of my nose, both my cheeks, and along my jawline on each side. it usually goes away for a while, but it always comes back. i took some pictures today if anyone would like to see them. it looks so horrible this morning that i had to stay home from work. it also goes into my gotee and moustache, turning them both red and burning, and also cause flaking. it also makes the outer skin around my nostrils really itchy!
Avatar n tn Hello, Although the pictures resemble lesions of dyshidrotic eczema but since there is no itching,so this diagnosis needs to be reviewed. In my opinion, consultation of a dermatologist will be the best. Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn My new boyfriend has genital herpes and has been symptom free for 2 years (Carriers can transmit the disease without having any symptoms of an active infection). He also has eczema on both his inner thighs (a few inches below his genitalia). The eczema sites appear red and irritated though I am unaware of any discharge from them. My question is, even if we use a condom, could the genital herpes be spread through his eczema??? I'm panicked by the horrific genital herpes pictures!!! Help!
Avatar m tn Hello, Eczema is characterised by red, dry patches which are itchy. If the rash is non itchy then it can be pityriasis alba. Pityriasis alba is a common skin condition mostly occurring in children and usually seen as dry, fine-scaled, pale patches on the face. No treatment is required and the patches in time will settle in due course of time. The redness, scale and itch if present may be managed with simple emollients and sometimes hydrocortisone, a weak steroid, is also used.
Avatar n tn since I was about 12 I have had brown, dry as hell, blotchy, patches of skin in the crevice of my elbow joint, my stomach, a little on my lower back [mainly dry patches], and the worst of it is on the back of my neck and armpits. What is this? How do I get rid of it? I am really tired of being itchy and discolored. I've heard it could be stress, or hair dye stains, but it's really really bad. If anyone can help... i'll try to take pictures if needed.
Avatar m tn As I mentioned, some weird things like eczema appeared on my leg 1 week after (close to my penis). I used an eczema cream and it has almost disappeared from the first leg but starts appearing on the other one at the same place... Please check the picture attached: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/716/img1499fu.jpg/ I am scared about Syphilis... Any idea about what it is ? Eczema due to stress ? Syphilis ? An other disease ?
Avatar m tn Check out "lichen schlerosos" online in a medical dictionary that shows pictures, and see if you can find some pictures on dark skin, and read the description. Maybe that's what's going on. The other thing that it might be is vitiligo, but I've never heard that it hits the pubic area more (or sooner) than other places on the body.
Avatar m tn January was an extremely stressful and difficult month for me and on top of that I was getting only a few hours of sleep. Information that may be useful is that my two children have eczema which has been diagnosed last month. I have been applying creams to their sores without wearing gloves. I had sexual encounters with prostitutes but always use condoms for intercourse.

Avatar f tn But the bump I have down there I have compared to infected hair follicle pictures and it matches, but so does some pictures of a genital herpes bump. And I have looked at breakouts on lips and compared from eczema break outs and rashes and herpes and they match all there in some pictures. So I'm just confused and idk what to do or think, but idk if I'm breaking out because im stressed, and curious as to what is going on with me.
Avatar f tn (Although our first daughter passed away) I am getting maternity pictures done alone and also ones with our children and my husband. So therefore I am making a blog online for all mother's who need support and such stories as mine (multiple successful cesarean deliveries). We are getting ours done in the mall, it's a more so a private photographer. We are sending pictures to family members, using them for my blog and best of all....for our home (wall of fame lol).
Avatar m tn Looking at pictures, I do not have any lesions or white pimple looking bumps that a lot of the pictures have. But I do have red areas on my penis though. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and he said it is not Herpes, but he is just a general practitioner doctor. Any more insight?
Avatar n tn Hello, From the pictures it looke like eczema. . It is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, certain foods, plants, metals, cosmetics, dust mites etc. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
Avatar m tn I have it on my underarms, although they look slightly different for both underarms. The left side looks like typical eczema. Red, scaly, patchy, and very itchy. My right side is a little harder to describe. When I first started getting it I thought it was ringworm. But the doctor's biopsy found no fungus. It never responded to any fungal medications anyway. It usually starts out as a single red dot, and it eventually turns into multiple dots covering my armpit.
608553 tn?1389502811 I had this itchy rash since Jan. 2013 that would get itchy then bumpy with clear liquids that come out. It spread throughout the year and would come and go. Occasionally it will split open and bleed. I've heard eczema or poison ivy, but no cortisone, oat, or antibacterial will cure. Typically, it comes and goes but now I have it on my knuckles and cracks and bumps on both hands. WHAT IS THIS??
Avatar n tn Unfortunately from looking at the pictures around Eczema, it does not really look like the bumps that I have on my finger. There is typically no redness around the bumps. About a year ago, I was diagnosed through an anonymous testing service with HSV-1. From doing a lot of research and seeing pictures, I'm scared that the bumps are from the possibility of having herpes whitlow.
Avatar m tn Could be eczema. Please post some pictures and should be able to help. Regards Dr.
Avatar m tn My children have had recurring blisters between their toes for the last several months. We've been to several dermatologists but no one can explain what these are. They are not itchy and they tend to get better and worse over the course of several weeks. Also, they start as pinhead sized blisters that can grow to involve the entire toe (or multiple small blisters that grow together). Lamasil seemed to help after the initial outbreak, but does nothing now.
Avatar m tn ve had the same itching behind my knees and random itching on my thighs, legs and sometimes my buttocks could those random itchings be a form of eczema? how can i suppress it? and do you think a strict diet will prevent it from itching as bad?
