eczema

When I drink matcha green tea, which is crushed green tea leaves, the redness goes away and almost resembles the surrounding skin. Although I haven't been able to get rid of it completely. The eczema on my scalp is worse, is right aLong the hairline, and causes an intense itch and redness, and its started to make my scalp really dry, yet the same time my hair gets oily and starts to shed on areas were the patches are really red and itchy.
Anyone who is familiar with this who maybe knows any anything that could help even if its any home remedies…your advice is needed!! We have started trying washing his hair with vinegar as told by couple of people, could this also help???
There is a sandy-grainy like build up on my scalp This is also accompanied by an itch. Even after I wash my hair, the grainy like build up is still there. It is NOT flaky what so ever. My hair has also started to fall out and at the end of my hair, a white little grain is at the end. Hair will not stop falling out. I have gotten blood tests at a dermatology office and everything was normal. I also have tried about very type of zinc pyrithione shampoo, at the highest concentrations.
Make enough to cover your scalp (~1/4 cup), massage it into your scalp, leave on for 30 minutes, shampoo and rise as usual. You will see results after first use, all of your dandruff will be gone as well.
I have this same exact problem. My doctor put me on acutane too because right around when i got the stickiness of the scalp i started getting bad acne too. My sticky hair went away while i was taking acutane but came back a couple months after I stopped taking acutane. It is an extremley frustrating problem. I found the thing that helps for a couple to few weeks is dying my hair and/or getting a scalp treatment at the hair salon. Let me know if you find a remedy that works on a daily basis!
My mother has eczema on her hands and knows a lot about what works for eczema and what doesn’t. She suggested I “clean out” the dead skin with hydrogen peroxide, try not to itch at all (haha, easier said than done) and put diaper cream on the skin. So, now twice a day I soak a small piece of cotton with a 10% hydrogen peroxide solution and let it sit in the ear for as long as I can stand it. The longer you wait, the more crap it’ll ‘cook’ out of your ear.
Three days ago I started feeling like whatever this was is now in my skin (I'm certain of it), It's under the skin on my face, my scalp, my back, my toes, and my feet. I can feel it crawling in and out of my anus at times also. Went to the dermatoligist today and of couse he says it's my imagination, some people get it. He's subscribed me some DEXEPIN for depression. :( Funny thing is I'm not depressed, my life was quite good until this bug showed up.
once you're done, take about 3 cap-fuls of Listerine and pour it onto your scalp. Work it into your hair and scalp. LEAVE IT on for 3 MINS. You might feel a tingling sensation which is totally normal. After that rinse your hair. I used a conditioner for the ends of my hair to put some moisture back into them. Just make sure the conditioner has no contact with the scalp. After this treatment i found that my hair was completely back to normal! I was so astounded.
often tops of hands, perioral, periorbital skin, knees, elbows * Pityriasis alba –Very common, especially in black children –Less distinct borders than in vitiligo, does not result in complete depigmentation –Plaques may appear lighter than surrounding skin and may be scaly –Often secondary to mild inflammation, such as tinea versicolor or atopic eczema –Completely reversible and does not cause permanent hypopigmentation * Piebaldism –Congen
I have been reading about the severe itching some of you have had and wanted to share what happened to me. for several years, I had SEVERE itching on my upper arms and in my scalp. I had sores all over my arms, legs, and in my scalp and suffered constantly from the itching. After seeing many doctors and dermatologists, I finally went to an endocrinologist. When I walked in her office with my severe itching and sores, she stated:"That looks like a blood sugar problem.
I put quite a generous amount on and the put on pantyhose. That was I can still wear pants over or if I am at home I just wear shorts. If I do this about 3 nights a week my skin totally clears up. I think it is as much the pantyhose because it keeps the air off the skin. Also, the Glysomed really helps with getting the skin healthy and naturally oily - in a positive way. Guys, don't think this can't work for you because it is pantyhose. I am a guy.
IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! Anyway the DR. explains on how he gets eczema on his lips and takes out his ointment and puts it on his lips right in front of me and tells me a tiny dab will do it!...I was breaking out every month for the last 2 years and going through the cracking, itching, drying, healing process….Its been 3 months now and still nothing!....GOTO A GOOD DERMATOLOGIST AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN OUTBREAK WHEN YOU SEE HIM, THAT’S THE onLY WAY!..
i have white speck on my shoulders and chest, and i went to this site and thought i had the fungus or whatever soo i bought me some selsun blue dandriff shampoo, and i took a shower put it all over my shoulders and chest and went to bed, and when i woke up it burnt badly, i thought it was burning the fungus and i washed it off and went to school, well i came home and did the same routine and within minutes after putting it on my skin felt like it was on fire, i middently washed it off, and the
So I went to the store and bough some destin and started using it at night the redness was gone overnight but still a little dry and cracked but going to contine to use. I have eczema on other parts of my body but that seem to itch more than what I have on my eyelids. I did try my medication for my eczema on my eyelids and found no relief. I would suggest giving the destin a try.
Hi, I have had the same problem, tried all the expensive lotions and creams and nothing helped. I looked up home remedies and decided that I would try anything that didn't cost me anymore money. Vitamins... one zinc, one flaxseed oil, one B complex, one C. There were others, but these were the only ones I had at home. I take these four vitamins everyday and have been problem free for about 4 months. It only took about 2 days to start seeing results and I had normal skin within a week. Warning...
I've had the same problem for about two years now. It's embarrassing. I blame it on my eczema but my eczema cream doesn't help it at all. I wish a doctor would respond to what exactly it is. I hate to point to places for people to sign or initial at work to find them staring at my hand, or when my husband caresses my hand came brushes across a patch of skin as rough as cement. Some advise please! !!!
My mate is accusing me of having a relationship with someone sadistic person, and has made statements like, ¨Ok, I guess I´ll come home with scratches on my back¨. I am really beginning to be worried with these scratches. Is there someone who can provide me with any explaination for these mysterious scratches on my back?
html I'm not recommending you do this - but I sometimes pierce mine and the heal without too much more itching. I'm sure there are better options, and I know you can find home remedies, including herbal, online. Just keep em dry!

I have been using it for about 3-4 weeks now and the little bumps on my penis head have gone away but now i have noticed an itchy bump on the side of my penis which is a bit bigger.. also there is a bump on the edge of my penis head that had peeled and gone away for a few days and re-appeared in the exact same spot which seems to have formed as a bump/scar(not as itchy)... ...i have very itchy bumps on my inner thighs and butt cheeks that seem to be getting worse.
I threw on some of my fav MAC concealer on the scab and went on with life. After several days, I came home after a night out and washed my face, usual routine. When I went to dry my face, I noticed that tiny scab was now bleeding profusely. So much blood from such a tiny little spot. I looked into my magnifying mirror and noticed what I thought to be a little whitehead still stuck in there. I thought, oh! This mofo wasn't done!
this sound exactly what I'm having; I DO have Type II Diabetes which is under control, and the several itching "under the skin" on the hands and between my toes is horrible :( It goes away after I take Ibuprofen, but I'm finding that I'm taking 3-4x daily, which is getting old, and also making me tired?
Within the past six months, I've been battling with what my doctor and dermatologist are calling seborrheic dermatitis. It's on my scalp, face, and has recently spread to my chest, arms and groin area. My M.D. did a complete blood panel on me and found that I had a fatty liver and high ferritin levels (453). I've been on a strict liver detox for the past month and have seen my AST and ALT levels decrease as well as losing nearly 30 pounds, which is nice.
I also had numula eczema where the skin on my fingers were raw. I used a cortisone cream presribed by my dermatologist but after a couple of days the itching would recur. It was awful and lasted for a couple of years until I moved to San Diego and a friend gave me a tube of Quadriderm manufactured by Schering. It not only stopped the rash and itching it actually cured the problem and I have not had any problems since 1987.

Hi, I'd think that the first step is to determine if you've gotten some systemic infection. Were you in any unusual places right before this began, or around any sick people or animals? Any bug bites then? Exotic food? Any possibility of contaminated water? With neutrophils high, that would tend toward bacteria or fungus, not virus. Or maybe a parasite. Any fever? No doc prescribed an antibiotic, just to see if that helps? Any white patches in the mouth?
Hi, I'd encourage both of you to post in the public forum, as well as taking a look at our "Ask an Expert" forum.
