Hi there. For about the past year or so I've had a recurring rash on my jaw. At it's worst, it's very itchy, bumpy and red, sometimes dry. It's always there, but only really flares up every couple weeks and last for a few days. It's always in the same isolated spot on my right jaw. When it isn't flared up, you can still see it, but it doesn't itch, isn't bumpy and is a lighter shade of red.
The location of the red areas is on both ears, in front of each side burn area, the middle of my right cheek, and on my left jaw line. The rash tends to get really red and slightly itchy right after a hot shower or when I am hot. About once a week the skin becomes super dry and starts to slightly peal but a couple days later it's red again. Can someone please tell me what this is or how I can get rid of it because it's super irritating!
Avoid using the cellphone in such a way that it rests on this side of the face. Also, try to avoid sleeping on this side, as your face may be irritated by the pillow's surface. Avoid any known triggers and continue using the hydrocortisone cream. The steroid is mildly potent so this may be safer to use over the face. Just apply thinly over the area. Avoiding the triggers is the main step to prevent recurrences.
I noticed a small oval shaped mark on my jaw 8wks ago, it was light pink in colour, slightly raised but not much, not bumpy or painful, sometimes itchy but not often. After a week, it became dry and then a scab formed and fell off. Underneath the skin was light pink again. It remained so for a further 4wks and then 2wks ago it became dry and scabbed over again. It has now gone back to being pinky/purple like a bruise.
I am also having this problem but mine are very small some skim colour some red I have keratosis pilaris kind off looks like bumps you get home this but there not I have them on my forhead jawline and back odd one on my legs and arms the itching drives me mad I have been to doctor's and been told its pityrosporum folliculitis and given kenconzole shampoo as body wash and face wash seems to be drying them up but they come back ahhhhh :(
, the skin on my face appears to be extremely dry and flaky, on the forehead, under the eyes and cheeks. I tried bio-oil, NuSkin moisturiser, NuSkin enhancer (skin conditioning gel), but it doesn't seemed to get better. Everytime I applied something on my face, my whole face "stings", especially the areas mentioned earlier.

2 questions!
1. The other day I got some semen on my hands which have eczema. My eczema do itch and I do scratch them very often. But eczema don't itch all the time. when the semen got on it ,it was not bleeding, it looked like intact skin with very red rash on it.
So,my question is, is this kind of no-bleeding eczema showing only severe rashes the same as intact skin?
I have severe itch on my penis. I have tried a lot of medicines. but none resulted good. I have a lady friend who is a dermatologist. but can i show this to her. or do they only treat females?
I've been diagnosed with eczema on the underside of my penis. 1% hydrocortisone seems to make it worse.
What would be an alternative, milder treatment?
I was using Nystatin and it seemed to get better, then it returned even worse. The cream seems to do little for it now. I got eczema on my knuckle last year and it finally cleared up. I assume this is the same thing. It is red and raised. It almost looks as if the hair follicles are what is red and raised.
The only reason this concerns me is because I was burned badly in this area in 2002. I never went to the Dr. for the burn although I was told it was a severe 2nd degree.
about 2yrs ago I developed a rash on my one foot.I want to the Dr and he said is was a rash and gave me an antihistmine tablet and some cream.The second time I went to the Dr he said it was eczema and gave me more cream.
Both my feet is now covered in scab and I'm to embarresed to go and see a Dr .It itches a lot ,especially at night,and sometimes I stratch it until it bleeds.

hi dr....left side of my face feel stiff when i moved my muscle or jaw...i can see some nerve moving when i try to move my jaw...the stiffness come from the chick side of my face or beside my nose...i went to doctor and doctor said is due to infection because i has flu at the same time...i used to develop bell's palsy as well...what actually happen to me? is that an infection or something else?...hope to get reply soon....
Then when I took it out and wore it again, for a dance or something, the next day I found these rough sandpapery bumps on my lips, mostly the upper one. I looked into it and all I could find online was stuff about fordyce spots or chapped lips until I finally settled on a result about a bacterial infection. I stopped using that lipstick and got a new one in a similar color, but the spots didn't clear up, so I just stopped wearing lipstick altogether again and they went away.
since around last summer i developed almost a rash ony myt scrotum, when my groin is cool and dry it doesnt bother me, but when i start to sweat my scrotum starts to get sensitive to my underwear and it starts to get red and itchy, ive used store bought jock itch spray and it works untill i run out. also i have little white bumps on my scrotum where my hair folicals are. any answers on these things would be helpful.

I was hoping to hear of other potential treatments or medicines. I can handle the eczema elsewhere with the topical steroids and moisturizers. It's just that the eczema on my scrotum is so much more severe and flares up immediately after sex.
Hello, for a few months now a rash has been developing on my arm. At first i thought that it would eventually go away on its own, but instead it seems to be steadily growing (although at a slow pace). It consists of small bumps that are the same color as my skin, and grows in little patches. At first I thought I might be developing a ringworm, but it isn't raised like one. It also isn't itchy unless I'm out in the sun and sweating a lot. Then it seems a bit agitated.
Hi, I have a rash that appears mostly in the summer months. It appears on my knees and ankles mostly but can also be seen on legs and feet. It's raised red spots which appear to have white around them. It has come back every year for about 6 years. I live in Ireland so the climate can get warm but not very warm and not very often.
When i get to the doctor it has disappeared.

It isn't herpes simplex; my doctor just had me get a blood test for this and it was negative. Besides, I've never heard of herpes simplex causing a rash on a persons back and nowhere else. What might this be?
That's exactly how my eczema started. I had patches on one eye after about 3 months of moving to Los Angeles. (Is it the dryness? Dust?) And then, it turned so horribly bad, I saw three doctors. The second one gave me steroids, it went away insanely quick, and then came back, worse than it was before. The third one gave me Elidel. It's not a steroid, and it works. There is still a little eczema on and around my eye, but I can live with it (though I hate it.
I did go to my GP like a year ago for this and now i have another little red spot on the glans of my penis. The GP said the first one was a blemish from some sort of friction. I was still concerned and had an STD test and it was negative. This bump looks the same as the one before and has been with me for around 6 months. I was just wondering what your diagnosis on this might be? I dont think its an STD but still concerned.
But I would see a dermatologist. It may interfere with your psoriasis. Anyway, this is my take on it all. Oh and if it is eczema, I also hear that taking a bath with a few drops of bleach works. I don't know why and it is counterintuitive but the nurse next door said this should work. I haven't tried it. I would find out for sure what it is. I have to see what folliculitis looks like.
