Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but these white spots can be due to hand eczema, contact dermatitis, flat warts, pityriasis versicolor or vitiligo( less likely). Flat warts are about the size of a pinhead and usually appear on the face, but can also appear on arms, knees, or hands.Other possibility is of eczema. It is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema.

I have dry red flaky spots on my arms that turn white and was wondering what they were please help!!

It is bumps all over my body, which every so often they will have whiteheads on them. It started out on my upper arms and has spread to my buttox, chest,back,upper legs, penis, and it is slowly spreading to my lower arms, which is why i am posting this becuase i have to get a cure or ahold of it before it does. I havnt been able to swim for years because im to embarressed of how it looks, and if it spreads to my lower arms i wont even be able to wear a tee-shirt to cover it up.

So I have been getting spots for about 8-9 weeks. They tend to itch, at different times of the day, then get really itchy, the spot then gets big and raised, and after an hour or two goes down to a smaller red spot almost not visible usually within a couple hours or sometimes 48 hours. Then they are gone. When I first notice them, its really itchy, the middle of the area is white, and surrounding it is red. When I take pictures of them, they look like a pimple with a white head.

I have this terrible itching on both of my arms, I have been to specialists for it and no one can tell me what it is or give me and nothing to stop it. I have taken oral meds and used topical creams & ointments. I have changed detergents & bath soap. I have even had biopsies of it and all they could say was dry skin. It's hard to believe that just dry skin can cause such misery. I wake up at night scratching until I am bleeding.

but have been looking for a solution for my daughter which has rash/ bumps on her joints arms forhead ect... in my research ive come across alot of information on gluten intolerence an acid reflux problems with the gut that lead to auto immune disease like celiac disease /gerd .like i said not a doctor but these might interest you .if you search autoimmune disease and symtoms ..

I have posted pictures on my profile of my arms. It is in the same spot on both arms. Now the itching feeling is to the point where it wakes me up at night and keeps me awake.

Looking at pictures, I do not have any lesions or white pimple looking bumps that a lot of the pictures have. But I do have red areas on my penis though. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and he said it is not Herpes, but he is just a general practitioner doctor. Any more insight?

I have those weird little blood bubbles on my skin that just appear out of nowhere. They're very small, I made a video of the biggest one. I have hairy arms so I shaved that spot so you can see. I have another one about that size on my back and all the other ones are so small you can barely see them but they're there. Every few months I find a new one. The one on my arm has been there for years and never changes or get bigger, so is the one on my back.

I've had a rash appear over night initially on my thighs and on my elbows and then the next day spread to my arms, hands, and armpits as well. I have no clue to the cause of this rash. The rash appears red and blotchy with a constant itch that is lessened by taking an allergy medication.

I have been itching on my arms for over 7 years. It is only itching between my wrists and shoulders. I itch until I bleed. Only ice packs completely take the itch away. I am seeing a chiropractor and he is looking into a possible neurological problem. Any suggestions??

Hi. For the last 6 months I have had a rash on both arms. It is lots of red dots that are very slightly raised and they don't itch. They are very unsightly. I went to my dr who said it was eczema and prescribed Aqueous cream but I don't think it is eczema and the Aqueous cream hasn't helped at all. Any ideas?

also i have been getting little dark red dots on my thighs and back of arms. sometimes i get random pimples on my leg but they clear up in a few days.

Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, certain foods, plants, metals, cosmetics, dust mites etc. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.

ve noticed these small pale papular lesions on my arms which appear spontaneously. I had 3 or 4 of them when I was 14years old and now there are close to 50 on my both arms, forearms and hands. And much to my concern, do not come the same way as I've described in the previous paragraph. They just increase in numbers and distribution over the years. Non-pruritic at all. A point which I think may be important, these 2 kinds of lesions are found only on my limbs.

I'm 18 years old, male. I've had this patch for a while. I haven't been outside without my shirt on in a few years so it wouldn't be anything sun related. It doesn't itch. Skin feels raised. Unfortunately from looking at the pictures around Eczema, it does not really look like the bumps that I have on my finger. There is typically no redness around the bumps. About a year ago, I was diagnosed through an anonymous testing service with HSV-1. From doing a lot of research and seeing pictures, I'm scared that the bumps are from the possibility of having herpes whitlow.

At first it was one red spot that got bigger and now its all over my tummy, chest, back, and has started to appear on my arms today. A couple of parts are quite dry, but don't really itch, and I've had headache and cold like symptoms. Please help!

I have had eczema on my arms and lower legs for many years. Moisturizing helps, as well as being consistent with any prescription medication you have for it. I have found that using lotions and soaps without chemical ingredients or perfumes has helped a lot - it helps keep it from getting itchy or irritated, which in turn helps it heal and get into a less noticeable appearance. Most people don't notice it as much as you do so try not to worry about it.

Hi all, I posted a question regarding this issue a couple of days ago but the situation has changed since that time. OK so about two and a half weeks ago I noticed a dry spot of skin on my right upper arm. It wasn't discolored at first but then began to grow and become a salmon color. It has now grown to an area the size of a business card. It is very irregular in shape and is flat (i.s. not raised). It's covered in a thin flaky scale.

ve had this for about a year off and on - lately a lot more on than off. I will get rashes anywhere on my body (ranging from arms to legs, torso - everywhere). The skin will become itchy with very slight redness, or sometimes even bright redness. Interestingly enough, when I touch it - it's usually fairly hotter than my body. It's literally warm to the touch. When I scratch it (yes, they get VERY itchy) - it usually ends up in getting bumpy which of course, make it more itchy.

I've always had eczema on my upper arms and thighs. Now it's all over my arms and legs. Honestly, I haven't found anything yet that works. I've tried scrubs and such and nothing helps.

The bumps and rash on my neck chest and scrotum are going away and it seems like the rash on my arms is too but does this sound like eczema or something worse???
