Avatar n tn Has anyone done some natural treatment, and what are the results. Also, has anyone tried ESSIAC, IP6 or LIV 52. Please, let me know. Thank you in advance.
Avatar f tn Eczema is a skin disease that causes itchy, red, dry flaky skin. There is no cure or reasonable treatment. The treatment is typically steroids but there are side effects. You should cut down on the amount of baths you get. Don't use hot water. Use a oil based soap like oilatum or Dove all natural. Use natural laundry detergents based on enzymes. Don't use bleach or dryer pads. Use a good moisturizer just after shower. You need to moisturize at least twice a day.
Avatar n tn Their is no cure for eczema. I also work in construction and have it between my legs. Not the same type that you have and the doctors are still debating over what my skin problem is. But I have read a lot about eczema and their is no cure. But it does go away on it's own and is treatable. I would definitely start wearing gloves as washing your hands causes more problems.
Avatar n tn It will come and go for the rest of your life. Balantis is just eczema on the penis. Do you have eczema any where else? Cortisone cream should clear it up. Apply twice a day for a week. If you came in contact with something that you are allergic to it will clear up as long as you don't come in contact with the substance again.

Avatar f tn What is the best treatment for vaginal Eczema. I have this for years now, it comes and goes. I use Calendula gel when I have symptoms, it seems to help but not completely. Is there something that I can use that is more effective. It is very uncomfortable. Burning sensation, etc. I had a biopsy done a few years ago and results came back (SPONGIOTIC DERMATITIS) which I been told is like ECZEMA. Can you please help or have any comments regarding this condition.
Avatar m tn It is often caused by allergies to common natural inhalants and intolerance to some foods. In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. Medical research shows that the most effective treatment plan for eczema involves using a combination of therapies to treat the skin and making lifestyle changes(prevention of triggers and application of lots of moisturizers) to control flare-ups. The treatment prescribed to you is correct. In addition keep your skin well mositurised.
Avatar m tn No complications for having dermatitsis even for years!! However, before intending to pursue drug treatment, one should always use natural ingredients as its safer and more effective in some cases. Its not easy to affirm whether you experiencing dermatitsis, exczema, friction , mild irrtation fungal infection or even normative skin changes!! Many GPs or Dermatologists will assume its one of the conditiona mentioned above based on history of treatment and observational examination!!
Avatar f tn Is there any natural treatment for hypo? I will talk to my endo next week. However, I am pregnant so any info on natural treatment would be great. THANKS!
Avatar m tn Hello, Eczema is characterised by red, dry patches which are itchy. If the rash is non itchy then it can be pityriasis alba. Pityriasis alba is a common skin condition mostly occurring in children and usually seen as dry, fine-scaled, pale patches on the face. No treatment is required and the patches in time will settle in due course of time. The redness, scale and itch if present may be managed with simple emollients and sometimes hydrocortisone, a weak steroid, is also used.

I've had perscription steroid cremes every type of lotion out there. And all my dermato wants to do is use the same cremes. I NEED RELIEF!! Does anyone know a natural way to ease the eczema pain?

Avatar f tn I have had eczema problems in the last trimester of my first pregnancy on my stomach but now this time I have really irritating eczema on my right arm and I cant seem to find a cure to stop the itching and get rid of it.
Avatar n tn Hi. I have something between my fingers like hyper pigmented patches with thick layer. The dermatologist gave me betamethasone (cortisone) ointment and emollient. This was from many years and the progression of treatment is so slow. I don't know is that eczema, or what? It neither itches nor burn me... this patches troubling me and I want to cure it...
Avatar m tn Well it seems my rash is responding to a Cortizone10 creme which is intended for eczema and psoriasis. I suppose it is eczema and not a fungal issue. I'm disappointed I never experimented with it earlier on. I bought a Cortizone10 intensive healing formula (1% hydrocortisone with antioxidants and chamomile) and have been using it for almost a week. The redness has significantly gone down, the skin almost blends in with the normal skin, but not quite.

For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid which are available by prescription.
Avatar n tn Hello, Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
