Avatar n tn Their is no cure for eczema. I also work in construction and have it between my legs. Not the same type that you have and the doctors are still debating over what my skin problem is. But I have read a lot about eczema and their is no cure. But it does go away on it's own and is treatable. I would definitely start wearing gloves as washing your hands causes more problems.
Avatar n tn I've had eczema my entire life and it's NEVER been as bad as it is now. I just gave birth a little over a month ago, but my skin now is soo irritated and itchy I can't even sleep at night. It's made it hard to move or take showers. It burns. I've had perscription steroid cremes every type of lotion out there. And all my dermato wants to do is use the same cremes. I NEED RELIEF!! Does anyone know a natural way to ease the eczema pain?

Avatar n tn is there a steroid free anti itch cream that i can apply on a daily basis to scrotum with no side effects to relieve itch?
Avatar m tn Well it seems my rash is responding to a Cortizone10 creme which is intended for eczema and psoriasis. I suppose it is eczema and not a fungal issue. I'm disappointed I never experimented with it earlier on. I bought a Cortizone10 intensive healing formula (1% hydrocortisone with antioxidants and chamomile) and have been using it for almost a week. The redness has significantly gone down, the skin almost blends in with the normal skin, but not quite.
Avatar f tn This is Eczema. The more you scratch the worse it itches. Eczema is a skin disease that causes itchy, red, dry flaky skin. There is no cure or reasonable treatment. The treatment is typically steroids but there are side effects. You should cut down on the amount of baths you get. Don't use hot water. Use a oil based soap like oilatum or Dove all natural. Use natural laundry detergents based on enzymes. Don't use bleach or dryer pads. Use a good moisturizer just after shower.
Avatar m tn t help dermatologist to understand the causes of the eczema or find the right cure. Should I go to hematologist instead of dermatologist and what can I expect with these blood results. Thank you in advance.
Avatar m tn It's probably eczema. There is no cure and no one seems to care how much it destroys your life. Not trying to be sarcastic, just tired of dermatologist who act like it's just a minor itch. The one thing you can't do is itch. I know don't breath either. When you scratch it makes it worse. You need to keep the area moisturized. I wouldn't use steroids, they just make it worse. When you use steroids you need to use them constantly to get the affect.
Avatar m tn i have the herpes virus in my eczema, i was wondering if you could tell me what is the best things to use other than my medication ?
Avatar n tn It will come and go for the rest of your life. Balantis is just eczema on the penis. Do you have eczema any where else? Cortisone cream should clear it up. Apply twice a day for a week. If you came in contact with something that you are allergic to it will clear up as long as you don't come in contact with the substance again.
Avatar m tn Hello, Eczema is characterised by red, dry patches which are itchy. If the rash is non itchy then it can be pityriasis alba. Pityriasis alba is a common skin condition mostly occurring in children and usually seen as dry, fine-scaled, pale patches on the face. No treatment is required and the patches in time will settle in due course of time. The redness, scale and itch if present may be managed with simple emollients and sometimes hydrocortisone, a weak steroid, is also used.
446049 tn?1649005835 I believe that's exactly what I said, Mom. But it won't cure psoriasis. It won't cure a dandruff problem. If you can cure something, it's always better than medicating it. But to cure it you do need to know what you're dealing with and whether it has a cure. But yeah, I said it doesn't have too many problems. But it can be very drying as it's very strong, all dandruff shampoos are, and that just makes the problem stick around.
Avatar f tn Someone i know had serious atopic eczema, nothing could cure it, nor conventional medicine even alternative medicine, diet or exercise didn't matter to him. but after he moved to canada, his atopic eczema just dissapeared. He ate anything he wants, greasy foods and spices freely, but the eczema didn't return. i myself is very sensitive to heat and humidity. during summer, it's like hell. what do you think about it? what do you think is the biggest cause or cure of illness?
Avatar m tn I have the same issue, I've had this spot of dryness that feels leathery and cracked on my index finger. It's been there for at least 2 years and no lotion helps. I also do get eczema which is why I'm pretty sure this isn't eczema. The only thing I could come up with is it could be as a result of some chemical from my general or organic chemistry labs. Is there anything else this could be other than eczema? Thanks.
Avatar f tn I have had eczema problems in the last trimester of my first pregnancy on my stomach but now this time I have really irritating eczema on my right arm and I cant seem to find a cure to stop the itching and get rid of it.
Avatar n tn Hello, Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
