My son had excema on his face as a baby, I would put Eucerin brand lotion on it which seemed to help.
Try Aveeno products the have body wash for eczema and lotion for it as well.

I am wondering if they still make Crack Cream. The eczema that I have always had on my hands is now raging. I like Gold Bond lotion Extra Strength for itching on the body. I would not put it near my eyes. It has Eucalyptus or something of the sort in it. I think moisturizing is the best therapy for itching except in the case of my eczema. I'll stick to the prescription for that.

I was using the steroid cream my dr gave me and following your advice about washing my hands and using a good lotion. Nothing was working and I felt like actually getting worse. I had some Zyrtec and started taking one a day for a week and it's basically working!! Very few itchy areas pop up once a day or less! Thanks for the advice!!
ECZEMA would NOT be on only ONE side of his scrotom and ONLY there. The medication used for chronic eczema is a simply TRIAMINOLONE CREAM or OINTMENT 9if you already have open sores. I do NOT hjave to be a dermatologist..IO am BETTER--I was MISDIAGNOSED with "eczema" for years to find I had multiple chronic merdical issues, including liver and kidney damage, candida, salt build up, AND needed systematic treatment.....
My wife suffers from eczema and is particularly affecting her palms of hands to the point that her skin is cracking. It is extremely itchy and she has sought medical attention with a dermatologist but the medication prescribed is ineffective. Anyone have this type of condition? Any alternatives?

Take a benadryl allergy pill. Benadryl itch cream, cortizone itch cream; there's a number of brands of hydrocortisone which is an anti itch. Do you have a rash?

talk to your pharmacist about some hydrocortisone LOTION...not the cream. I use this on the very dry skin on my breasts in the winter and it does wonders. the lotion soaks into the skin more easily than the cream does. Depending on where I go a bottle costs me between $4-6 (us). Hope it works for ya!!
