Eczema lotion aveeno

Common Questions and Answers about Eczema lotion aveeno

eczema

Avatar f tn Target has a generic aveeno white bottle brown cap in the lotion section. Oatmeal baths. The steroid cream is NOT to be used on pregnant women unless the risk outweighs the problem.... I have to put it on my lil man and read the bottle after the first time putting on him and now make my husband do it just in case. The lotion works pretty good. The Dr said you can use crissco, Vaseline, auqaphor... However it's spelt.
Avatar f tn There's this lotion for eczema, & its in a bottle with whinnie the pooh on it (even if its not eczema the lotion still works good) idk what its exactly called tho
9041091 tn?1410417329 To help with eczema get some Cortizone Eczema Lotion. Its betweeen $8-$10 a bottle.I ewas instructed not to put ANYTHINGthat has a scent to it on my sons skin becabecause it makes it worse and sunscreen has a scent and I've never heard of that helping either.
Avatar n tn The ONLY over the counter treatment that works (and works well) is Aveeno Excema Care (now called Aveeno Advanced Care). This is an oatmeal-based lotion that prevents flareups and reverses minor flareups. With use twice a day she hasn't had a flare up in months - however, when we stopped using it for a few weeks (Aveeno took it off the market temporarily when they changed the packaging), her eczema came back and none of the other products (including Mustela) did anything.
Avatar f tn Use Aveeno lotion. It really helps. They also have cortisone for eczema relief. My husband has eczema and his feet get so dry and cracked. He sometimes uses diaper rash cream too. Poor baby, hope you find relief soon.
Avatar n tn Try an oatmeal bath and some baby aveeno eczema lotion, if that doesn't give you relief ask the doc
Avatar m tn My daughter has eczema and we use no scented bar soap when we bathe her, which the doc said to only do once every 2-3 days. Then we use non scented lotion (aveeno makes a good one). We put that one her twice a day. We also use hydrocortisone on the irritated spots every 4-6 hours until they clear up.
334090 tn?1203804738 I would use aveeno baby lotion. My daughter has atopic dermititus and that is what they had me use. Aveeno products for everything..
Avatar f tn Anyone dealing with this...my 2 month old gets very very dry skin on her face. But when I put lotion on it...it flares up. I've tried aquaphor, aveeno unscented, burt's bee and Cetaphil. They all make her beat red:( I feel bad...that I can't do anything I wash her with dove sensitive skin, also tried aveeno moisturizing soap unscented...
Avatar f tn Upu can use the Eucerin baby stuff too! Its super gentle but specially formulated for eczema. Aveeno products also work great, be careful with essential oils, some are not safe to use during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn My son has eczema really bad and I use Baby Aveeno the one with the dark blue cap and it works magic on him.
1486289 tn?1315842255 I tihnk something like Johnsons baby lotion would be ok. I've used it. If you think it's actually eczema you may want to speak with her ped about something that will help clear it up. Not all lotions help eczema, especially if they have alcohol, fragrances or other unnecessary additives in them. My 7 yo has pretty bad eczema and we've found the aveeno line of products to be EXTREMELY helpful and it has helped us to minimize the use of topical steroids.
Avatar n tn eucerin, cetaphil lotion and aveeno. If you can take time to soak in bath, take a aveeno oatmeal bath ea day....remember that wont help immiediately, but if done each day it will help prevent it. Cortizone 1% is ok but dont use it every day because its damaging. Hope some of my advice helps...the steroid is the key to get it under co.trol at 1st then the other stuff will help longer term... Probioycs r soo important and a good multivitamin..
Avatar f tn That is aveeno baby eczema lotion not accent.
Avatar f tn I have also used their baby products on my boys since birth. They both have eczema and aveeno has been a lifesaver!
Avatar f tn I have the same thing on my hands and wrists. I bought Aveeno eczema therapy lotion and it works so well. It's amazing how much better it looked after two days of use.
Avatar f tn My son had it at well.
Avatar f tn Hey there, My 3 month old has severe eczema and the doctor prescribed us hydrocortisone cream, that worked wonders for his skin and now is ezcema is gone. But now we have a problem with a severe itchy head. I've tried baby oil, aveeno lotion, aveeno eczema lotion, cetaphil, coconut oil to name a few. He screams and screams in pain when he is itching and he will not sleep at night because he is so itchy.
Avatar f tn I haven't with pregnancy but am going thru it with my 11 month old. We where recommend eczema lotion from target the generic of aveeno. It's in the lotion area in a white bottle with a brown lid. After 3 days of use he is looking so much better. It was all over his body. Stop using Sented wash and with no dye in it. It's a start and is working great so far!
Avatar n tn With my experiences w/my toddler..the RX'd lotions didn't work. However, I have used the Aveeno Oatmeal soak in the tub, the body wash and the lotion...to be honest I actually use the WalMart brand version of Aveeno. It has cleared his spots up really well. Another tihng that my sister in law uses is for hers is the Aquaphor. I do agree that the omega 3's & flaxseed could help based on what I have read about them. Hope this was somewhat helpful to you!! Take Care!
Avatar f tn My son had eczema. I used eczema lotion I think it was aveno along with eczema otemeal baths. It's a powder that comes in little packets you put in the bath water. I also used dreft baby detergent and organic sent free soap for the bath. Also don't bathe baby too often that will dry the skin out even more.
Avatar n tn Since you have sensitive skin, you may want to consider using Aveeno lotion. When my nephew was in ICU for a week after he was born, they used Aveeno on him. I figured if they use it on very weak and mostly premature babies, it must be gentle! I am allergic to pretty much everything you'd buy in the store (shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, sunscreen, hair products, etc) so if you need any suggestions, I've used a lot of products in my trial-and-error routine!
768015 tn?1333652075 I have Eczema so i know how annoying it is! Lotion wise Eucerin is the best for the that other than that you have to go the dr and get some hydrocortizone cream! Being PG im would definetly ask your DR what would be best and safe to put on it! The cream i have they said is pretty strong!! oh and soap wise make sure you get dove or caress that really moisturize your skin these are the only 2 that i buy!!
435139 tn?1255460391 I use the regular johnson and johnson baby shampoo and then aveeno oatmeal lotion and body wash and then vaseline when she gets dry parts on her skin. I also use johnson baby oil when needed for cradle cap for for a head massage since it stimulates hair growth (or at least it is supposed to but I'm starting to doubt it). Your not supposed to use baby oil for the first couple of weeks because it can harm the natural oils in your babys skin.
