Common Questions and Answers about Eczema in japanese

eczema

Avatar n tn Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone or desonide), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Moisturizing is one of the most important self-care treatments for sufferers of eczema.
Avatar m tn I have been dealing with itchy genitalia for the better part of the summer. I'm living in Japan now and the temperature and humidity is much higher than what I'm used to back in the north eastern USA. That being said, I've been living in Japan for 4 years, and until this summer I never had this problem. About two months ago I went swimming and stayed wet for the whole day. The following morning I had a horrible case of heat rash on my inner thighs.

Avatar m tn I had medium severity asthma and atopic eczema as a child, both of which lessened considerably as I got older, becoming non-problematic since I was about 15. I still get the odd flare-up of eczema, usually in Spring, and my asthma management has for a long time consisted of using my ventolin inhaler about 3-5 times a year.

Avatar n tn Just last week i read about how apple cider vinegar helps in eczema itch relief. I gave it a try and it really works. I diluted the ACV in one part water and one part ACV and applied it with a cotton ball. Let it dry and apply Polisporin to areas that are starting to heal. I know everyone reacts differently but this is the only thing that worked for me for a long time. Im still in the healing stage from the scratching but the itch is gone.
Avatar f tn My 7 month son has eczema and has had a rattling in his breathing which gets worse at night for 4 weeks. The doctor has looked at him and says it's coming fro high up which means there's nothing wrong. However i'm worried it's asthma. My brother had it with eczema as a child so there's a family history. He's got an intolerance to cows milk so he only eats soya. He's had a permanent cold since he was about 2 weeks old.

684676 tn?1503186663 And when co-pay amounts are predictable (the maximum a Japanese citizen pays for an operation/procedure is 10% ~ 30% in some cases), the Japanese go get medical check ups much more frequently than Americans. Not only is the co-pay predictable, the price of your total operation/procedure is equally predictable as those prices are set by the Japanese Ministry of Health. Guess what happens then? Life expectancy shoots up to No. 1 in the world.
Avatar n tn Dear Readers, Thank you for your time, it is especially appreciated as I am currently in Japan for a many-month stay. Japan IS a developed country, but I am in a small village and nobody really speaks English (and I don't speak Japanese). So, please, your advice is very important. My story: I am a 26 year old male. Exactly 30 days ago I noticed a red spot, about half a centimeter (maybe smaller) in diameter on the edge of the head of my penis.
Avatar n tn I recently broke up with my girlfriend then I went out with my friends and got smashed. I meet this chinese girl in Roppongi, Japan. Long story short... (She was a massage girl) I went with her to her room. She gave me a massage. Then she asked if I wanted a happy ending or sex. I said yes. She called in another girl. From what I remember I told her I wanted to use a condom and gave her my condom( XL Condom, I dont want to take any chances).
670385 tn?1228373341 my almost 16 month daughter has been vomiting since last night around 9pm and we took her in to be seen around 1pm the today (the following day) Unfortunately the doctor only spoke Japanese to my husband (we live in Tokyo) and I was not able to understand him nor had a chance to ask him any questions.
Avatar f tn Treatment is with glucocorticoid (a corticosteroid steroid) ointments, creams or lotions. They do not cure eczema, but are highly effective in controlling or suppressing symptoms in most cases. Since Alcortin contains anti-bacterial, anti-fungal as well as steroid medications it would be safe to use this to treat the condition with this. ref:http://en.wikipedia.
Avatar n tn You probably have eczema in the groin area. Their are dozens of posts on this site and others concerning the same symptoms. My whole scrotum turns red and sometime the leg creases. None of the medication the doctors gave me do anything. I do not itch unless it turns really red. But when you read about eczema it usually itches and turns red after you scratch it. I never scratch, but it turns red sometimes within minuets. The area gets so dark in color it looks brown.

Avatar m tn I belive I have eczema in my genital area because I have it also on my chest. I've tried treating it with different types of lotions but lotions seem to make it worse. I tend to scrath the area because of the itchiness which then leads to breaking of the skin at the base of my penis. Never breaking of the skin anywhere else in the genital region, just at the crevase of the lower pubic area at the base of the penis.

535882 tn?1396576685 They never mentioned any increase in the size for me through my multiple sessions. I did have a reaction of erythema at times to the regular needles, so I did have one acupuncturist use a kind for hypersensitive people though. Their needles were much smaller than venipuncture needles, I was told, and often didn't really bother me being inserted and I have sensitive skin.
