Avatar f tn Now why would eczema break your face out with red bumps? eczema doesn't break out in bumps. Actually has no bumps. 99% of doctors mistake another thing for eczema. Now if you had ACD, then that would explain much more. Allergic contact dermatitis, and not to be confused with contact dermatitis, which doctors do mention. Contact dermatitis is from a contact with chemicals.

Avatar n tn I've had eczema my entire life and it's NEVER been as bad as it is now. I just gave birth a little over a month ago, but my skin now is soo irritated and itchy I can't even sleep at night. It's made it hard to move or take showers. It burns. I've had perscription steroid cremes every type of lotion out there. And all my dermato wants to do is use the same cremes. I NEED RELIEF!! Does anyone know a natural way to ease the eczema pain?
Avatar f tn Hello, Although it sounds like eczema but eczema presents with dry itchy skin. There is no itchiness in your case. So firstly seborrheic dermatitis has to be ruled out. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how your son is doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Avatar n tn Hi I have a severe case of eczema. I flare up extremely bad on face and neck in the winter. Also when I sweat excessively I itch. Is there any help or products I could use to keep me from looking like a frosted flake in the winter months?
Avatar m tn I was born with eczema and during my childhood it manifested in my arms. Suddenly, my eczema cleared up and I was completely fine, I thought I was cured. My freshman year in high school, the skin around my mouth began to chap. I didn't really pay much attention so I used original chapstick. As time passed it got more and more intense. I'm now a senior in high school and at this moment I'm experiencing a flare-up.
1415174 tn?1453243103 I have tried Eucerin daily face (hypoallergenic) cream, and Simple face cream and suncreen and I am allergic to both. I am still using Avon eye cream with a sunscreen and I don't breakout under my eyes where I put it. I don't know for sure both think that is causing the allergy on the cheeks. thanks for any imput.
Avatar n tn You could have eczema. Do you have a rash or anything on your legs you could describe? My eczema has been acting up due to dry hot weather. Scratching makes it worse or even if it is a rash or bite it makes those worse too. What does it look like? If it is eczema or a rash you may be allergic to your detergent or something else. Try using fragrance and dye free detergents and other items on your skin. Also, Eucerin , Restoraderm works well to calm down itching.
Avatar m tn I have a lot of friends who used Abido on their children also. My baby also has Eczema and I believe that I have found a good natural product range that might help. I especially like them because they are safe and are unlikely to cause a reaction. I share my daughter's journey here:******. What I found that works is to moisturize my baby's skin very frequently! That is why a safe effective all natural moisturizer is better.
Avatar n tn t use heavily fragranced items, even if the fragrances are natural herbs. I made that mistake with a Jason brand face cream and it burned my face. It was only red for a little while after I washed it off. I ended up giving the rest of the jar to a friend who said she used the product regularly already. I didn't realize I was that sensitive to natural as well as man made chemicals.
Avatar f tn When i got pregnancy acne and eczema my Dr Told me to use baby wash on my face instead of regular soap and that got rid of my acne, tHen she prescribed eucerine cream, its over the counter and helped my eczema in 4 days.
Avatar f tn You can develop allergies to things that you've never been allergic to before. I suggest reading the forum discussing hair dyes. There are many horror stories about allergies to these hair dyes. There are many man-made chemicals that are so toxic in hair dyes. People were even talking about brands that you might associate with being less toxic or "natural" and what kinds of allergic reactions they have had to these products.
Avatar n tn Okay, it does have its similarities to eczema in looks. But why only my face? Usually its on arms and legs. It doesnt get dry like eczema either. I just use a regular bar of soap on my face just like I always have.
Avatar n tn I have a rash on my face it is quite itchy, it is a light pinkish red. Could you tell me what it could be and what things i can do to make it less itchy?

Avatar f tn Hi everyone, For the entire summer, I've been dealing with escalating skin issues. It started out as itchy, irritated skin on my eyelids. I've been to the dermatologist twice and used Locoid Lipocream once a day. Things got a little better but never went away. Then she gave me Mupirocin to use once a day. Same issue - got more manageable, but never went away. On my own, I've been taking flax oil daily and using pure vitamin E oil on my eyelids and undereye area.
Avatar n tn i have eczema on the area of face ,how can i look after ? i mean calming and moisturizing creams , can i use cosmetic?
Avatar n tn My 2 month old was prescribed a cortisone cream of 1% to use sparingly on her face once a day for a week. It helped her eczema but now her skin has changed from from light brown to white with her natural skin color looking like a ring around her face. It's been a month now and I would like to know if her natural color will return? If so how long will it take? I never knew that would happen in such a short time with such small amount.
Avatar n tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be contact dermatitis or eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g.
1221025 tn?1266842580 I will tell you what did the trick for me, it is a product called Regen. It is an all-natural, cosmetic face cream that does not even sting if it gets into your eyes. (Great for babies, try it on diaper rash too) But the real magic for me was that it takes out itch (even poison ivy) and eczema! Look at these pics: http://blog.oli-co.com/?p=547 Even better, it is all natural, allergy free, not steroids or drugs, and it is guaranteed! Best wishes, Suz. P.S. Knocks out sunburn pain too!

And my doctor well she thinks now its eczema. trust me I know what eczema is, and I also know how quickly this spreads if I don't wash my hands immediately.
