eczema

1221025 tn?1266842580 It is an all-natural, cosmetic face cream that does not even sting if it gets into your eyes. (Great for babies, try it on diaper rash too) But the real magic for me was that it takes out itch (even poison ivy) and eczema! Look at these pics: http://blog.oli-co.com/?p=547 Even better, it is all natural, allergy free, not steroids or drugs, and it is guaranteed! Best wishes, Suz. P.S. Knocks out sunburn pain too!
Avatar f tn Hello, As your child is showing rashes on touching of milk, this means he is allergic to milk proteins. Fortunately, most babies outgrow milk allergies by their second or third year. Babies who develop cow's milk protein allergy may have one or several of the symptoms like eczema or skin rash, abdominal pain or cramps, vomiting or diarrhea. I feel that you should consult an allergy specialist and get skin ***** or patch tests done.
784419 tn?1236261756 Has your DR spoke to you about your diet? Eczema can be traced back to what you eat most of the time. This is especially true for kids. For adults you have to look at the detergents you are using, along with moisturizer. The most important thing is not scratching and to keep applying moisturizer. It can be hard to find one that agrees with your skin. Just after shower apply a liberal coat of a natural moisturizer like coconut oil.
Avatar n tn Eczema can come and go and that might be what this is. Try AD ointment (which is for babies for diaper rash but people use it for tatoos) at night and put some gloves on over the ointment. See if that makes it any better.
Avatar n tn so it was a few weeks that it hadnt cleared up at all, and we are packing cuz were moving and i ran across these samples that my mom got from work (a baby store) and it was facial cleansing cloths for babies.. from MUSTELA its great stuff, made with super gentle stuff since its for baby skin, few ingredients, moisturizes, smells nice (which is a surprise that its scented since fragrance usualy irritates me) this doesnt irritate my skin more than it already is, like most stuff i try.
Avatar n tn The pedeatrician says they do not resemble typical eczema, can some one help out with what they could be?I am worried sick.My mother and grandfather have atopic drmatitis and my hubby's mother psoriasis.
1337810 tn?1333807530 If you feel that the eczema maybe allergy related, then suggest going to an Allergist for him to get tested so you know for sure. If he is allergic to a food type, then you would know what foods to feed him or not.
Avatar n tn I know this misery well. Once I went on my first elimination diet for the digestive issues, that's when I discovered the true source of my misery: GLUTEN and DAIRY. The two go hand-in-hand. Look up key words like "eczema diet" "what not to eat with eczema". Conventional doctors usually miss this. I stumbled upon it myself when looking into my other health issues.
Avatar f tn Sounds like a type of eczema. Sometimes eczema is exasperated by one's diet, because eczema is affected by food sensitivities. Cold sore medications are ineffective if this is eczema. Eczema is also known as the itch that rashes, which is why the little bumps get worse if you pick at them. The usual consensus for foods to avoid when you have eczema are gluten and dairy. There are others, but these are the big ones. They definitely affect my eczema.
Avatar n tn Sounds like it might be eczema- have you had a doctor take a look? You may switch your soaps/moisturizers to something that is fragrance free for starters. You might also keep an eye on your diet- sometimes certain foods can set off eczema out breaks. I always recommend keeping a journal of when you see them and what you have eaten or the products you have used. Also, you can use aloe vera or similar moisturizer on the patches to help.
Avatar m tn If you find that it itches, then you scratch, then the rash either appears or it gets worse, it is likely eczema. If the little blisters seem like they're filled with clear watery liquid, that's definitely eczema. There are different types of eczema, too. I'm annoyed that conventional doctors don't bother to suggest that patients with eczema try eliminating gluten and dairy from their diet.
Avatar f tn He may not realize he might have eczema. This is a lifelong condition and the only real practical way to deal with eczema is through diet. Look up things like "foods not to eat with eczema" and "diet for eczema". The general consensus is that gluten and dairy should be avoided. I wish conventional doctors would tell their patients this, because not eating gluten and dairy is the only long term solution that helps me. Make sure you do the research, though.
Avatar m tn Oatmeal bath aveeda for babies, the aveeda eczema wash, and at Walmart in the baby care section the eczema cream!!!
280369 tn?1316702041 Try apple and pear juice by gerber don't water it down. Use a medicine dropper from your pharmacy Two teaspoons. It always worked for my three when they were babies. And this shouldn't mess up the breast feeding. The little bumps may be baby acne like said earlier. But it could be eczema. Try using allergen free detergent for washing clothes, fragrance and dye free. Use fragrance free and dye free bathing soaps formulated for dry skin like cetaphil or dove sensitive skin.
7381903 tn?1391464888 It will go away on its own. This is normal for babies...but I heard that breast milk can help clear it up. I wouldn't put anything else on the baby's face because the skin is so delicate. Don't worry, about all babies go through this.
Avatar m tn i have these big black patches near my groin on the inner thigh they've been there for about 3yrs and sometimes they itch really bad in the winter and sometimes in the summer just recently i've had the same itching behind my knees and random itching on my thighs, legs and sometimes my buttocks could those random itchings be a form of eczema? how can i suppress it? and do you think a strict diet will prevent it from itching as bad?
Avatar f tn If you want to learn more about how we used natural products from this amazing herbalist/Doc who actually had a background in helping babies and toddlers with severe eczema, feel free to email me as I know how hard it can be. We sent tons of babies and toddlers to this Doc and they all are better for it. It's funny you titled you title your comments as "eczema and beyond" as I am just in the midst of creating a website called beyondeczema.
Avatar f tn If it is baby acne, don't do anything to it. It'll go away on it's own.
Avatar m tn I am getting so tired of this skin disease and hoping to find a cure or minimize it once and for all. I put on Cetaphil eczema cream daily. Do you guys have any suggestions on this or any creams/pills I should take??
Avatar m tn Food is medicine, therefore I would do a detoxification diet with a lot of juicing using organic vegetables only. I would eliminate sugar, bread and alcohol from the diet completely for at least a month to see if it made any difference. I have Morgellons disease—and am not suggesting that you have it, but one of the symptoms is itching all over the body. It can present with rashes or lesions in some people that itch very badly.
Avatar m tn The only thing that comes to mind is that there are different types of eczema. That's definitely not the kind I have, though. I'm not sure what else it might be. As far as that one goes, it wouldn't hurt to look up "foods to avoid with eczema" or "eczema diet" or words similar to that. That doesn't really look like eczema, but the eczema diet might help.
Avatar n tn I have had eczema on one foot for almost 20 years now. I am 38. Sometimes it does not flare up for a week or two, but it always comes back. I have been to several dermatologists, tried various prescriptions, over the counter meds and a series of cortisone shots (they helped for about 18 months, but the side effects were intolerable). It seems to be worse in the summer. The itching keeps me up many nights. I only wear flip flops, year round. I can not wear socks or closed shoes.
Avatar m tn but ive found tons of stuff you can do, for instance, check out the diet/eating part of it. theres ways you can do a process of elimination type thing to see if any particular foods or such are making him/her react, or allergy tested to see what they are allergic to, if anything, sometimes eliminating the things your allergic to helps to prevent a skin "reaction.
