Avatar m tn My little boy has eczema and we also have a swimming pool (which he loves). We have been told by our doctor that we will need to immediately bath him after swimming and we were wondering if switching our pool to a salt water system (the system turns the salt into chlorine) would help him be less itchy. The also offer a peroxide system for keeping the pool clean. Is one better than the other regarding his eczema?

1388714 tn?1279920927 For the past few years I have had recurring pus filled bumps on my foot that typically last a couple of weeks then scab over brown and peel. It itches right before the bumps form then causes no other sensations. Ive noticed it happens mainly in the spring and always in the summer. If I peel the bumps before theyve healed I notice many small holes it can be up to 6 or 8.

Avatar f tn My son has had warts on his legs since he was 2. He's now 9 years old. One came up on his ankle and it has spread into dozens since then on his legs and feet. We've tried over the counter stuff and that didn't work. We've went to a dermatologist even since everytime we tried something it seemed like more warts came back than he originally had. They definitely were multiplying.
Avatar m tn it appears to be an "eczema" disease. i'v been experiencing it for 2 years and it spreaded from my middle, to the 2nd, 4th and now the 1st finger (only right hand). So the finger's skin made a cycle, where it peeled, and then it grows the newer one but its thick and theres no fingrprint in it, then it goes back to peeling and again. (But in a small area).
Avatar n tn Approxiamtely 4 months ago I was diagnosed with Eczema on the face. I was given daktacort hydrocortisine to manage the flare-ups which has controlled the eczema. However after using the cream for about 3 months I began to develop an area of redness on one side of my nose which goes across my cheek bone. It seems to be very sensitive to the sun, after I wash my face and in certain environments. Grateful for your advice.

This hypersensitivity reaction triggers an inflammatory response, which generates symptoms such as running nose, itchy eyes, skin irritation, eczema or even anaphylactic shock and death.
