hi i suffer with eczema and lately for the past few months I have been waking every morning with horrendous breakouts on my skin (face) as it is my face it is heartbreaking and very embarrassing. I work with the public and as you can imagine I'm at breaking point!! every thing I seem to put on my face lately just reacts and causes huge red bumps all over my face it looks absolutely hideous.

Doc says hands are dishydrotic eczema. Says ankle could be psoriasis or eczema. Have an appointment to see dermatologist end of July.

For some reason this has really got be "bugged" . Keep looking at scabies photos and freaking out.
Wife says she has no such rashes or scales. BTW. My hands don't itch at all. They just feel hot, like a slight sun burn. My ankle does itch.
Any good treatment for eczema? 20wks today. Really suffering a lot. Tried Alpha Keri and QV intensive care but its not working. Help please....

Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
it appears to be an "eczema" disease. i'v been experiencing it for 2 years and it spreaded from my middle, to the 2nd, 4th and now the 1st finger (only right hand). So the finger's skin made a cycle, where it peeled, and then it grows the newer one but its thick and theres no fingrprint in it, then it goes back to peeling and again. (But in a small area).

But in case of ocean water, according to the British Association of Dermatologists, there is considerable evidence that salt water baths may help some patients with atopic eczema.

It can be seborrheic dermatitis or eczema. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp. under the nose or anywhere on face. My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated as treatment is diagnosis specific.

Another big thing to take out of the diet is SUGAR--all forms of it, natural and otherwise. Sugar causes inflammation. And, what is eczema other than a form of external inflammation? Thus, the other name for eczema is dermatititis. Eczema is just more severe. I suggest that you DON'T use artificial sweeteners. They cause other health issues. They don't taste good anyway. Weaning myself off of sugar gradually didn't work. I had to go cold turkey. Guess what?
