Treatment consists of antihistaminics,steroids and plenty of moisturizers.

It usually happens to me if my underwear/ pants are too tight or if the material is not breathable. Try buying new undies that fits right and is made of cotton. Keep the area down there clean and dry if you can because moisture attracts nasty stuff that causes irritation. Most importantly, get yourself checked to make sure that everything is okay. Well they don't itch or cause any pain. They're just dry and flaky. Lotion causes them to sting; that's the only pain I experience.

Another big thing to take out of the diet is SUGAR--all forms of it, natural and otherwise. Sugar causes inflammation. And, what is eczema other than a form of external inflammation? Thus, the other name for eczema is dermatititis. Eczema is just more severe. I suggest that you DON'T use artificial sweeteners. They cause other health issues. They don't taste good anyway. Weaning myself off of sugar gradually didn't work. I had to go cold turkey. Guess what?

Yes I have this itchy scrotum. I'm on a medication that causes eczema. I can't stop taking the medication or else I won't have any place to live. The itching is in fact all over my body; but I learned that certain foods causes me to break out in hives in conjuction with the medication. The itching on my scrotum is forever constant. I've tried all kinds of anti-itch medication as well as 1% hydrocortizones. Nothing works on this itch. I mean no oils,lotions,body wash.
