Avatar n tn I'm not a doctor. has eczema history. if your rash is reddish with dry skin surrounding and perhaps sometimes blister like, it can be eczema. peeling happens when you over scratch it. can ask for corticosteroids over the counter. Lotions without fragrance, preferably for sensitive skin will keep the dry skin comfortable (St Ive's Intensive Healing Advanced Therapy Lotion helps me a lot; cheap n good). try to keep the skin there breathable with thin cotton clothing at night.

Scabies infection is caused by a mite Sarcoptesscabiei, it burrows in the skin folds of hands and feet and causes intense itching mostly at night. Since you also have heaviness in the chest, these causes are to be eliminated. If there is a history of unprotected sex or of blood transfusion or use of street drugs then test for HIV too. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.

Corticosteroids may help control the eruptions but with a history of eczema ,there is a chance for recurrence in the future. As with your condition ,it is best to have your leg examined. Is there any notable varicosities or swelling of the leg? Any underlying conditions like diabetes and thyroid problems?
