eczema

It feels like a severe case of chapped LIPS. There are little bumps around the LIPS and they itch, burn and hurt. I have redness all around my LIPS also. It looks hidous. I had this happen to me almost two years ago and then it cleared up on its own. Now it is back again. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. Good luck.
It really doesn't resemble cold sores/herpes and while I cannot rule out impetigo, I would point out that almost all facial impetigo infections seem to be much more focused on the nostrils than the LIPS (in fact in pictures it often seems to avoid the LIPS). Meanwhile I have had no problems around my nose at all and, unlike what I see in most impetigo pictures, there are no spots or bumps. I'll post again to update on whether the hydrocortisone/bacitracin ointment combo works.
IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! Anyway the DR. explains on how he gets eczema on his LIPS and takes out his ointment and puts it on his LIPS right in front of me and tells me a tiny dab will do it!...I was breaking out every month for the last 2 years and going through the cracking, itching, drying, healing process….Its been 3 months now and still nothing!....GOTO A GOOD DERMATOLOGIST AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN OUTBREAK WHEN YOU SEE HIM, THAT’S THE ONLY WAY!..
That's when I freaked i went to the dr at urgent care, he didn't even think much about the spot, he just checked my cervix and looked around my VAGINAl LIPS, and said nothing looks like herpes, when he was feeling around I did have a little stinging feeling but it wasn't extremely painful. I checked again and to me it looked like a circular cut! Now it looks like a dimple... I know herpes usually is blister like but it can start as An ulcer!!!! This could very well be a tiny ulcer!!!!!
It's been 3 years and his LIPS are getting better , but getting worse. I can send the pictures any dermatologist docter, any help is much appreciated. We did all the allergey test etc, no one is able to find out what the probelm is. Please someone help.
It started around the time of my second period after I had a miscarriage. I have never had a yeast infection or any other problems before this started happening. I have been having sex with only my fiance (father of the baby we lost) for about a year and a half now. Now that I see I'm not the only one that this happens to, I don't understand how this condition doesn't have a medical term for it. I really don't think that this condition is caused by allergies.
2) I know that I am more susceptible to infection by the virus, but am I also more sensitive to outbreaks? 3) Eczema-specific IgG's are produced for eczema; would this be likely to trigger an IgG response to HSV, too? 4) Would that mean they would've likely already shown up on my test? My guess has been that I would have seen blisters, etc. by now if I was infected, but I just don't know for sure.
Oh and I looked at herpes pictures of the mouth and LIPS and they dont look anything like mine. I could easily cover this with LIPStick and no one would tell. But Its been 3 days now and still is numb and tingling and stinging and has the white tiny bumps. I dont know what this is do you have any clues?

I recently developed a rash around my LIPS and mouth 2 days ago that is now spreading upward around my eye. The rash consists of small raised bumps that are slightly red and very itchy. The rash looks similar to pictures of contact dermatitis. The roof of my mouth feels itchy as well. I also developed upper respiratory tract infection with a slight runny nose, cough, and sore throat.

My ex boyfriend has genital herpes which, when he has an outbreak, appears near his LIPS. I know that this is not usual (i.e., Herpes II usually affect the genitalia). He has had herpes for about 7 years and rarely has an outbreak. He is very aware of it and if he ever thinks there is a problem he avoided kissing me. I was tested for Herpes I and II a few years ago since dating him. My test was negative for Herpes II (genital) but positive for Herpes I (oral).

old also has a red rash on his face, around his LIPS and his cheeks. he started with dry chapped LIPS about three weeks ago and slowly his face mainly his lower cheeks and around his mouth started looking severly red (just like a carpet burn) and its dry and itchy. i took him to dr. 3 wks ago and he gave him Bactroban Cream, twice a day. it went away after a week but on monday, he came back home from school with red cheeks and dry chapped LIPS.
Here goes. A couple weeks ago I kissed a guy for a very extended period of time. He had no visible sores around his mouth. He did, however, have alleged "eczema" on other parts of his body. 2 days later I developed what I had thought was a pimple right on the border of my bottom lip (2mm x 2mm). I occasionally get blemishes in this area so at the time I didn't think anything of it so I popped it in my usual manner. But this time it seemed more clear/liquidy but it wasn't painful.
He didn't have an outbreak and didn't tell me he had HSV1 (confirmed after when I confronted him). Since I didn't have this before, I had a primary outbreak around my gums (2 painful blisters) and then 2 OBs around my lower lip (lots of tingling, no blisters but I noticed small bumps). Right after the primary outbreak in my mouth, I experience throbbing, tingling and itchiness around my clitoris followed by redness and what looks like small paper cuts (if examined closely) on my clitoris.
Picking or scratching the bumps may lead to further infection or scarring. In about 10% of the cases, eczema develops around the lesions. They may occasionally be complicated by secondary bacterial infections. The central waxy core contains the virus. In a process called autoinoculation, the virus may spread to neighboring skin areas. Children are particularly susceptible to auto-inoculation, and may have widespread clusters of lesions.

http://www.geocities.com/studentfl/mouths.htm First derm: Diagnosed as mild case of Chelitis. Prescribed Desonide Ointment 0.05% This worked well to begin with, but then I started noticing it was not working at all. In fact, I noticed if I kept using it the condition got worse. It worked OK if I used the ointment every 3 days or so. The derm said I have to watch my diet to see if I am having a reaction to something. I have changed my diet enough, I am sure it is not that.
few months back my friend found a pimple like with whiteinside at her pubic area then after it disappered it comes a blister at both side of her LIPS it's not too many...then after a few days it disappered again then at the second time she found again a red with white inside pimple like spot at her pubic area (1 only ) then she has white spots at her LIPS... then after a few days she got rashes... tiny red itchy spots at her legs and arms also at her head...
I am not ruling that idea out, but at this point I am confident it is HSV based off the blood test and continual state of having OB around the LIPS constantly. Even if it was eczema, I have never heard of such a thing happening to the LIPS..? Not to get sidetracked, but anyone with advice based off my previous posts, please share.
it doesn't really itch that much to me but it does get red and very dry i put lotion and chapstick on it as much as possible but it doesn't seem to help it really and i started looking on line and thought it might be eczema and what people were saying made since but the pictures didnt really look anything like it and im not getting it any where but above my lip.
Ok so recently I noticed like a cut inbetween my libia major and and i guess libia minor. (my outer and inner LIPS) Its almost like a paper cut! It started to get a bit white around the outside, like excess white discharge! Its terribily painful and I have the urgency to pee a lot! I recently went to my doctor, and she took one look and said its Herpes. But i swear its not!! I dont have any bumps or warts or white/red/puss bumps anywhere around my VAGINA. My doctor has done this before..
Hi I have a very dry LIPS and very dry skin around my LIPS. This was caused due to the A/C constantly being on at work. It never went away no matter how much creams, ointment or petrolium gel I put on. However, after work during the evenings, once I put on the above substence on, my skin seemed to soften a little but during the night it harden up and get all cracky. I was never able to peel it off because it was soo deep into the skin...if u get what I am.
I used to get it on my LIPS as well and it would turn into the worst dry cracked LIPS ever. I finally figured out it is a yeast allergy. I was making bread with my mom and I put my hands in the dough. They immediately began to itch and broke out in the bumps all over. After lengthy elimination diets I have discovered I am allergic to yeast and some wheat. When I cut them both out of my diet a laundry list of other problems went away as well.
