. Once the hcg level is over 1000, it should be possible to "see" the pregnancy. If you were my patient, I would want to repeat your quantitative beta hcg in 48 hours and I would also want to check a progesterone level. For a normal pregnancy, the hcg should rise at least 60% in 48 hours (approximately double) and the progesterone level should be approximately 15.
