In addition, keep changing your exercise around too because if you do the same thing every day, whether it's with your exercising or eating, your body will begin to know what to expect and stop responding. Avatar n tn 30 am everyday, I wake up at 8. The problem is that everyday, about 2 hours after falling asleep I am waking up to eat, drink, sometimes 3 times a night. I eat about 3 meals a day, with some snacks between them sometimes. I am 30 years old and exercise 3 times a week. Its the hunger that comes out of nowhere. I don't remember when I had a good night sleep. Only when I have few drinks I can sleep restful deep sleep without waking up.

Avatar m tn Thanks for posting. Her issue doesn't seem to be related to any of those things. She has been eating healthy, exercising, etc. Just had a physical and no thyroid issues, bloodwork normal. As expected, the doctor had trouble believing the story.

I weight the same in my 40's as I did in my mid teens, most of the time. I normally weigh about 180 and am pretty fit, but months of mania in India lead to extreme situations that landed me at 130 pounds. I am trying to see if my appetite changes and then my mood, or if my mood affects my appetite.

It's also a good idea to write down your feelings when you eat too - that way you can tell if you have emotional "triggers" as well - like boredom, anger, frustration, happiness, etc.

Avatar f tn has a doctor said your metabolism is in disrepair? if so, to what does he assign the cause? if not, what makes you think something is wrong? also, confused by a couple of comments. you said you are losing on 1200cals/day. then you said you want to repair metabolic rate to make it easier to lose. if you're losing, what else are you wanting? finally, cutting back calories at this point won't really help lose body fat, as you said you want to do in the second post.
