Avatar f tn What food is beneficial after running? I am losing weight. After running, when can I eat? Thank you!
1838120 tn?1322935125 Thinking it was just a side stitch, I tried changing up my running every way possible (run/walk intervals, changing my breathing, eating differently, not eating, running slower, running faster, shorter runs, shortening my gait etc). Nothing seems to help and I start getting the same pain around mile 1, sometimes even if I'm just walking! Then about a month ago, I was at work and had a very sharp pain in the same area. It lasted for maybe 30-40 minutes.
Avatar f tn Do any of you ladies, notice your eating more? I feel like I am always eating. I am having trouble because I am a big health freak and I am running out of food ideas.

Avatar n tn Do you run soon after eating?
Avatar f tn Well, some women exercise their entire pregnancies including running. (jogging type of running). Maybe you did overexert yourself though (which trust me, if I broke into a sprint right now, I'd have aches and pains as it would shock my muscles and ligaments as they have NOT been running lately. :>)). I had a lot of pressure in my vagina when in my third trimester. That is normal. See how you feel and maybe it was just a bit much for you.
Avatar n tn Calories aren't the most important factor in weight or fat -- metabolism of the foods you're eating are. If you eat a lot of simple carbs, such as white flour or sugar, it will store as fat quickly if not burned off immediately, and the first place it goes is to the belly. You might want to find a chart that tells you how fast foods are metabolized into sugar and avoid the ones that do this the quickest.
Avatar n tn m not a marathon runner but I do enjoy running n ran on a daily bases b4 the pregnancy. I also kept on running after pregnancy I ran 3 miles 4 times a week till 25 weeks with this pregnancy. . Avatar f tn Hah maybe, we are just running out of room to place food. I've been extremely thirsty, I feel the exact same way when I eat. Blahhh.
Avatar n tn I just suffered a mild NSTEMI last week. I am resting, eating correctly, and becoming extremely bored. I have no information on what I can do physically during this six weeks of resting. Any information will be appreciated. I am physically fit, accustomed to walking at high altitudes, and being very active in retirement. This heart attack resulted from extreme stress which was compounded in the past two months.
424634 tn?1277857528 I don't think I'll ever find out a final diagnosis. The cardio dude doesn't seem concerned, ahthough he kept wanting to put me on BP meds 'cause it's always high when I see him, but more or less normal the rest of the time (I have some moments, but like I said, they're here and there). I'm not suppose to go back until next autumn... I'm on a "Call me if anything changes" status.
Avatar f tn how do you keep from throwing up while running. Every time I run really fast or try to push myself while running I feel nauseous and throw up. Please help.
Avatar f tn I am looking forward to continue with my running habit, but should I slow down or pause after some time while running? I mean I don't run that long. Or, are they some steps I should follow, does this happen only when you are beginner and does your body get over these injuries with time?
Avatar n tn and weighs about 125 lbs. Also, she is not drinking cold liquids or eating a lot prior to practice/running. Thanks for any info.
Avatar f tn m a high school track runner and consistently have a very bad reaction to lactic acidosis. After any strenuous running, (hard efforts of 1-2 minutes) I am breathing hard, lightheaded, highly nauseous, and usually vomit. This feels terrible (and is embarrassing and frustrating) and lasts about 20 minutes. Every other kid doing the same exact workout is totally fine, even the ones who are in far worse shape. I am hydrated adequately, I eat correctly, I have no other medical problems.
Avatar n tn The biliary system can continue to cause problems even after the GB has been removed. Sludge and stones can be produced long after the GB is gone. They can also be found within the bile duct after being 'lost' during surgery. Problems with the GB can result in unregulated release of bile and that can lead to problems with diarrhea and food 'running right through you.
Avatar m tn a heaviness, feel like i cant get any air into my right lung at first, if i keep running it feels like im gonna die, a real tightness in my chest, and dizziness.
