547836 tn?1302832832 I was reading the nutrition facts under the links and noticed that although none of the two contain iron, the Protegra contains 5000 IU of Vitamin A! That's a lot of Vitamin A. Should I start taking these every other day? Or maybe once/ twice a week instead of everyday? or not at all? THANKS!

I to have had some eating or shall I say, not eating issues that lasted for about 2, to 3 weeks, & it really tore me up, I just wasnt eating, I couldnt, so I lost about 7 pounds in a very short time period, not good, as it is methadone detox makes a person feel physically weak & drained, then you top it off with not eating & you have a mess, it also makes sleeping even worse.
743476 tn?1236614823 checking your blood sugar before eating is so important so if you dont eat right at this present moment, please be sure you are checking blood sugar. your a1c will show if you are or not so you dont want that to happen. also when you start taking care of yourself with insilin you will start gaining wight so make sure you are also exercising. take care!
Avatar m tn Oh, yeah, There are thousands of nutrients, but the only ones on the label are the few the government requires. There's no daily requirement for quercitin on the label, but that's one of the best thing about apples. Also realize that juice has a lot more sugar in it even if none is added than eating an apple.

In the last 5 years I got back to a relatively normal eating pattern (no more diets or binge eating, obsessive exercise etc.). In the last 2-3 years my weight stabilized at 54-58 kg. In the past few months, I started eating less than usual - not as a diet, but mainly because of a busy schedule and getting home late.
Avatar f tn Whether or not this helps you lose weight is dependent on your individual digestive system and nutritional needs, what else you're eating through the day, how much exercise you're getting, etc. Now, most almond milk products are very high in sugar, so you might want to check that unless you're making your own, and some people don't do well on dairy products like whey, but assuming none of this is a big problem that's a pretty healthful shake for most people.

Then sunday I woke w/ a huge headache, nausea that was so bad even my seabands werent working. Monday I was still very sick I even went home an hr after arriving to work. Today is Tue and I'm finally starting to feel better still have a slight headache more residual feeling.

Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. It's no fun, but it's not going to hurt me.

I read that rather than "eating for 2", women are supposed to take in (on average) an additional 300 calories per day. So, I am curious if it's too early to begin doing that. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .

What should I be more cautious of or what is not so costly since I am growing a human being. I ask because I love to eat, lol pregnant or not pregnant. I just want to find a common ground of being satisfied and eating right. Sounds fat?
Avatar f tn hi, this may be because of your diet, not eating meat wont cause any bad to your health, especially constipation is a condition which occurs many other reasons. One major reason is, if you are not taking fiber food regularly then this will occur, so take some fiber rich foods like whole grains. and if you still have this problem after having fiber foods then it may be because of the parasite in your stomach, so consult your doctor and go for some parasite cleanser.

My question is, with the symptoms I have of GERD, trouble swallowing, the feeling of needing to throw up, how do I get food into my body when I literally almost can't?! It's driving me crazy. I know I first off need to stop drinking, that's a given, but has anyone else had that problem? I've never been a big eater, but I've always been a big drinker. And I think I'm not hungry because I'm full from the beer.
Avatar f tn Haha :D you know, with my 1st child money was tight also and I spent a lot of nights eating hot dogs and ramen noodles, baby was still almost 8lbs (he's 13 now)! Just don't starve yourself and don't blame yourself for not eating right, you'll probably be craving much less nutritious foods before this pregnancy is over! I have!

I have fed him Nature's Variety line since he was a kitten...for the past 2 years I have fed him Nature's Variety Instinct. He LOVES this food. I brought my cat to the vet today for a physical...and the vet recommended I give him a type of Purina food that is easily digestible. However, Nature's Variety is such a better quality food....
Avatar m tn Obviously, to gain weight, eat more, and to make it muscle, do resistance training of some kind in a careful way, but gaining weight in an unhealthy fashion will come back to haunt you later. I think you need to read up on nutrition -- there's so many theories out there, it's good to see what several people have to say and divide by two.

Of course, we all know that eating right is going to help us feel better regardless, but is there any correlation between Chiari and low blood sugar, or Chiari and light headedness due to diet causing more weakness? Or Chiari and brain fog due to diet? I know this is somewhat of a loaded question, but I also know this is the only place I'm going to find an answer! Thanks for any input!

I want to ask how can you calculate sodium from something you eat? If I buy a box of poptarts for example and it says 30MG, does each poptart have 30mgs of sodium or is that the amount for the whole box in all? Also is I buy a red baron pizza and it says 800mgs of sodium how do u calculate how much sodium in eating if I only eat 2 slices?

I know its hard sometimes to eat a lot but remember your baby will start taking what it needs from your body in any way possible to get what it needs to grow. Make sure you are getting enough calcium because baby will take that from your teeth and bones.
