eating right ice cream

I love love love butter pecan ice cream. Its my fav but in my first few months i couldnt eat it.

The past wk I have been addicted to ice cream for some reason I think of all diff kinds right now I'm working on a half gallon of strawberry LOL..anyone else have a ice cream fix? Or wat is ur fix this wk?

Ok so I've been eating ice cream from ice cream van. Not all the time. About once a fortnight or something. But I've just read that you're not supposed to eat them because ts bad for you? Worried now...

Actually some days im all about veggies and fruits and loads of water and other days i just want ice cream and ravioli and a whole whack load of pickles. I try to eat more veggies n fruits by buying tgem all the time and keeping myself from buying jucky food so when i am hungry im forced to eat healthy. Its all for the baby!

I never heard of that who did u hear that from I ate ice cream all the time and still do almost every time the ice cream truck comes around and I'm 33 weeks pregnant it's too yummy to pass up

Have any of you ladies heard that soft serve ice cream is a no-no for pregnant women?

Back in the day I worked in a Ice Cream shop and what we did was transfer the ice cream in the old container in the new one..so anything that was on the old one would now be in the new one! Not really sanitary when you think about it..but lots of ice cream places do it to not waste any food. So when you think of it regular ice cream would be bad too! So I think you're right..just moderation is the key and making sure things are super sanitary! Thanks!

Of course I cut back on caffiene, but other then that I dont see the harm in eating things you like. I dont agree when people say that by eating ice cream or deli meat your not giving your baby the best possible chance. I dont see walking around with a cone in one hand and a sandwich in the other the same as walking around with a beer in one hand, cig. in mouth, and needle sticking out of the arm.

I read today that pregnant women should avoid ice cream. Is this true? Are you eating it?

As long as it doesn't have raw egg on it but most ice cream won't it's only sorbets and gelato that has raw egh

I ate from a tub of ice cream straight from the freezer. I started to eat the ice cream and spotted blood. I look in the mirror and saw my gums were bleeding so thought nothing of it.I continued to eat it and then to my horror saw blood mixed in to the ice cream but this was certainly not from my gums. Any chance of catching hiv as I had bloody gums and came in contact with blood on the ice cream.

HELP!!! I have a 32 month old little boy w/ sever eating disorders. @ 3 wks old he was diagnosed w/ Acid reflux & placed on special formula w/ vitamins & cereal in the formula. His gigging & vomitting slowed down dramaticly. I learned my breast milk was thin & made him vomit due to his reflux. He would spit up so severly that he was have vomit clogging all his airways & have to be cleared to breath.

You stated he drinks milk. Suggest giving him milkshakes (milk and ice cream blended) and yogurt smoothies (yogurt, ice cream, and fruit blended) in place of milk for extra calories and protein. Have you tried chewable children vitamins? They look like ‘gummie bears’ so child think it is candy, however, they are a multi-vitamin for children. Suggest giving it to him daily for vitamins and minerals to decrease his illnesses. The most important thing is to relax at meals.

My fudge bar is chocolate... lol I'm not sure! She's right though, milk helps mine. But the chocolate fudge bars dont.

Since I stopped taking the pain killers, I can't stop eating ice cream sandwiches!!! Help, if I keep this up I am going to be the size of a cow!! I know this is funny so you can take it that way. If you have any suggestions I will glady take them, how can I stop?
