Pip is right eating frequently the healthy foods like fruit and raw veggies ,will help you not get hungry there are also low cal dips to dip veggies in , I make up a bowl of coleslaw to nibble at when I get hungry, made with low cal dressing..
The bean mash would be good even if you didn't have the garlic, just ensure you use the olive oil and rosemary. Check to ensure you can't have the garlic. I know you can't have raw onions but if you sauteed a bit of onion really well before adding the beans that could be tasty too.

Oh, I forgot to say, I'm loosely following the Rosemary Conley hip & thigh diet - so I'm not eating anything fatty (no chocolate, biscuits, crisps, fried foods, cake, hard or high-fat cheese, etc etc). So what I've mainly been having this week has been 50g porridge made with half water, half skimmed milk + sweeteners for brekky; soup for lunch then something like salad and low-fat houmous and pittas, or veggie stew and pasta for tea (I'm vegetarian anyway).

I spent 5 years (94-99) as a strict vegetarian / vegan, and have been eating mostly Lacto/Ovo with some poultry and seafood since 1998. I have been anemic my whole life. I really wanted to switch my cat to raw/cooked meat, fish, chicken with vitamins and minerals and a bit of fiber but right when I was about to try he bled the night before and so I decided it was about time for me to take him to the vet. The vet wants me to keep administering Z/D. I have to say, since I started feeding him this food, together with the antibiotics and prednizone, I have not seen more blood at all. So, hopefully, this means my cat is actually responding well to the treatment.
