you can't eat too much salad and salads should consist of 7 or 8 different greens, spinach, dandelions, beet greens, bok choy, swiss chard, <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>red</span> leaf, green leaf, <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>cabbage</span>, parsley, Turnip greens and then dump loads of everything else on top of that but NO MEAT.....and no bread or pasta for an least a month! My father-in-law is diabetic and he eats a lot of celery and apples.

Cultured yogurt is good but can be mucus forming but it does help. You can eventually consume miso (aka soy bean paste) or fermented cabbage. For now I eat a little protein.
