i think its just one guy who is doing all the negative news onthe raw coca....im hooked now...i cant stop eating this stuff...it goes good on ice cream too...

Hi there. I would not give raw chicken since it can harbor salmonella. Raw beef would be okay as long as it has been frozen and thawed, or refrigerated properly, before giving it to your cat/dog. Hello i was wondering is it posible to contract hep c from ingesting raw shellfish presumably shrimp? I read up on hep a and apparently it can infect that way. I thought i saw somewhere that hcv can infect through raw shellfish but i am not quite sure. Hoping someone has an answer, thanks!

I agree taht not getting enough sleep can be a burden for our liver, in our case we should rest as much as possible. Also I agree with 3-eating too much at one meal puts too much stress on the liver, it's better to have smaller meals several times a day. Also 5,6,7,8 are right, I've heard that the best cooking oil is extra virgin coconut oil.

Pain in my abdomen, specifically in the upper and upper right side (aka stomach and liver area), extreme bloating after eating, nauseua, fatigue/malaise, loss of sex drive. has anybody had the urge to eat raw beef? i havent done it, but i have been eating really rare steaks an they are sooo good.

Anyway, it means you have an excess amount of fat in your liver, which makes the liver bigger than it should be and causes the pain. It can be caused from eating too many fatty foods or white carbs that turn into sugar, then fat in your liver. It can also be caused from your liver not processing fats out properly. There is a supplement you can take called L-Carnitine that will help process that out. I buy high doses of it and take two pills per day.

There are no studies that suggest raw food causes fatty liver disease. It is only caused for lack of eating........and why would a cat stop eating? We all know stressed or sick cats don't eat. It doesn't take much to make a cat stressed. Oh well......I guess not everyone is a professional.
